Beautiful luxury rental on the East
side of prestigious Skaneatles Lake, Just 2 miles from the Village
This house sits on a pristine piece of level lakefront with a small pebbled beach area, which is a rare find! The beautiful Shotwell creek borders thesouth side of the property and flows into the lake. It has 3100 sq ft of living space over two levels. The property in mint condition.

The first floor has a front sitting room, main
living room, Kitchen, dining area, Sun porch,
laundry room, 2 bedrooms w/king beds and 1
full bath. (the bathroom is very unique and is
separated into two different private rooms.
One room contains a walk-in shower with
double sinks & the other room contains a toilet and another tub/shower.
(The garage is not accessible to guests).
On the second floor you will find the master bedroom with a king bed, fireplace, crib & ensuite bathroom & a large
walk-in closet with an incredible expansive view of the lake. The 2nd floor also has an extra bedroom that has a small Juliette style opening that overlooks the main living room and also has a king bed. (Please note, some of the furniture has been newly replaced)

Lovely property so close to town! Four king sized beds a huge plus when traveling with adults. House is well appointed with a beautiful view- we had a bald eagle on the beach in front of the house! Highly recommend!!!

Lakefront Luxury

We had a great time at the lake house. It is a beautiful spot with an unrestricted view of beautiful Lake Skaneateles. The house is better in person that the pictures. The owners are very responsive. Everything about the property is lovely. Sitting on the deck and watching the sunset is a pleasure. I hope we can come back again to enjoy this piece of heaven.

Syracuse Graduation Getaway

We recently stayed here during graduation weekend for Syracuse University. Was a perfect landing spot and alternative vs the city’s hotel options. We slept 8 comfortably and enjoyed every moment we could in this stunning property. Only wish we had more time. The living space is inviting and wide open with stunning views of its beautiful surroundings. The beds were almost too comfortable to get up from, but then you were reminded of what was outside your door. Owner was great to deal with and accessible to answer and questions. All the amenities you could need for a vacation, and a charming town to go explore, eat, and do some retail therapy. Would highly suggest staying here.

Location great

The location of the listing is great, close to village and on the water. Overall a very nice house but unfortunately some small things made the stay not fantastic - beds and pillows too soft, less than adequate bedroom furniture (no nightstands in master, or drapes in 2nd bed), kitchen utensils missing for cooking, no hairdryer in house, beach area not as pictured or described - just a dirty muddy area at end of lawn, not suitable for a child to play in, temp control in house was a problem - either sauna like upstairs or fans blowing on you all night (just one zone)

Thank you very much for your thorough review. Being our first guest we were still working out the kinks. There is a separate air conditioning unit in the master bedroom to help control temperature. The large windows in the room can make cause that room to get particularly warm. The AC unit has now been serviced and working properly for guests to enjoy. Unfortunately the water level has been particularly low this year due to a very dry summer. It is our hope that every guest feels comfortable and welcome and wish you would have shared these thoughts during your stay.

Slice of paradise.

The property is the highlight of this vacation home. The flat yard with just a few steps down to be in the water made it easy to get into the kayaks provided and for our canoe which we brought. My three year old granddaughter could easily get into the water and we could wade out a long distance. Evenings were spent on the dock and each night we saw a beautiful sunset Also, the very long driveway provided a wonderful space for my granddaughter to ride her bike. We had wonderful weather the week we were there and therefore could really enjoy the beautiful property.

Nice place

Nice place and lots of room for the four of us. We each had a room with shared bathrooms up and downstairs. We were disappointed we couldn’t use the hot tub, although it was not advertised as having one. But it was sort of a “tease” knowing and seeing that it was right there. Jetted tub in master bedroom was not usable as it had a leak. Other than that, place is very nice and has beautiful view of lake.

Fantastic experience

This property is new to VRBO and as such didn't have any reviews. I'm always wary of that but decided to take a chance on this. It exceeded expectations in every way. Communication with the owner with quick and easy. The welcome gift was appreciated. The house was very clean and well supplied. We cooked a rather elaborate meal one night and had everything we needed. The location is perfect - right on the lake but only a few minutes from town, making shopping, restaurants, etc, quick and easy to get to. My entire family loved it and we look forward to staying here again sometime. Highly recommended.
