We had a wonderful stay!The property was beautifully furnished, very comfortable and the location was perfect. The home had everything necessary for entertaining and cooking. The host was incredibly accommodating and assisted me with my special request, I look forward to staying here again and highly recommend it!

HIGHLY recommend! The house is in a great location and is very clean! It was well stocked and the communication with Matthew was great as well. Cleanliness was key here and also the level of comfort. Very safe, very close to everything!

We’ve stayed on the island many times over the years and this was by far our favorite stay! The house is so pretty and outfitted very well. Matt was amazing and super communicative. We can’t wait to go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was excellent for what we were looking for. We could easily walk to the ferry and Marine Avenue. The owner created a beautiful yet comfortable environment to relax and enjoy Balboa. Matt was great with communication and support for any questions or needs we had while we were there. Great location and Value!

The property met our expectations with no exceptions. Very comfortable stay and location was great. An easy walk to the Main Street on Balboa and the parking at the back of the property was very convenient. Would definitely stay again.

Best of Balboa

My family and I were able to experience the best of Balboa while staying at this property. It truly felt like our home away from home. Everything was easy, accessible and comfortable which made our vacation that much better. We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is impeccably designed, charming, well appointed, and very clean. The location is also ideal. It’s close to the bayfront, marine, and the car ferry for easy access to the peninsula. The hosts were very prompt in responding to us and very helpful. This was a 5-star experience all the way! Matt was very nice and responsive throughout our whole stay. The location was absolutely perfect. Very close to the beach, Balboa main strip, CDM and Newport. The house itself is in a quiet spot. The house is gorgeous! The layout, decor and details are so well done and just beautiful. We had an amazing trip. If this house is available for your stay, jump on it!

Our week on Balboa Island was just wonderful! Diamond Ave. is a perfect location: walking distance to the Bay, the ferry and downtown!! The owner was readily available!! The house is very livable and comfortable!! We hope to return!!

Matt is absolutely the best! And the house is perfect! Home is just a couple houses down from the bay, which is perfect for a morning or afternoon walks ! Also close to downtown area which has special shops and restaurants. The home is decorated to perfection and so comfortable and homey. It has everything we needed for cooking and beds are soft and comfy. We had a family emergency while visiting and needed to extend our visit and Matt was great with extending our stay. I am just happy that his home was available so we didn't have to move somewhere else. I hope we can return in the near future and stay for an extended period! It is truly a "special" place! Thanks Matt for everything!
