Neversink Sanctuary - Private Camp - Riverside Eagle Watch

The campsite is nestled on 3.5 acres on the peaceful bank of the Neversink River fed from the Neversink Reservoir nearby. You will have the campsite to yourself as the property is very private! It is placed down an embankment riverside with no neighbors around. The campers may see a kayaker passing by or a fisherman walking the riverbank on the other side of the river only. Bald Eagles Nest just across your site! Amazing views of birds and wildlife! Hammocks riverside for relaxing and listening to the soothing sounds of the river running.

1- The cabin is heated and insulated with electric, smart TV, Wi-Fi. Lights inside and out of cabin with USB charging outlets!

2- Lighted Outdoor Kitchen with propane grill, smoker, refrigerator, microwave, 100 QT Outdoor cooler! Large 8 burner catering grill available for larger parties! Newly added Big Green Egg Komodo BBQ Grill, Smoker, Pizza/Bread Maker! (Yea that's right!)

3- Guest Wi-Fi Internet

4- Yard Games (Corn Hole, Kan Jam, Bag Toss)

5- Camping Gear- (1) 12 x 12 Pop-Up Canopy Cover, 100QT Outdoor Cooler / Cart, (2) zero gravity chairs, 5ft folding table, Pots, Pans, Grilling Utensils, Over Fire Cooking Rack, Coffee Pot, Lighter, Picknick table, benches with storage, Outdoor private bathroom and hot shower. Outdoor table and chair set, Seats 7. Hand soap, Hand sanitizer, Toilet paper provided.

6- New 2025 edition eco-friendly bathroom and hot shower facility.

Easy parking off route 42 in our private driveway. 4WD not required. Short walk to the back and down to the river and campsite.

An amazing secluded retreat!

My finance and I had an amazing time here. We will absolutely be back. Quiet, serene, and secluded, all things that make for a perfect weekend getaway.

Lovely despite weather

Our first night was a nasty night of rain but we were able to cook and eat in a well equipped kitchen and dining area. It was a lovely spot and we saw the bald eagles in the morning. Desmond was very welcoming and helped transporting our gear back to the car. Lots of wonderful state parks in the area for hiking , swimming and picnicking. Definitely a return visit.

Girl's Weekend Away

My sister and I have been taking our daughters on camping trips for years and this was by far our favorite campsite yet! It is the perfect mix of rustic camping with the creature comforts to make the weekend easier. A nice comfy place to sleep, full outdoor kitchen and clean loo. The riverside location was so beautiful, we saw so much wildlife from the hammocks - including watching the bald eagles feeding their babies each evening. The area had a lot to offer - we went for a trail ride with Braden Brook stables (highly recomend) and took a lovely hike to Mullet Waterfalls right down the road. Just 1.5 hours from NYC, super easy to find and plenty to do nearby! Can not recommend this campsite enough - the host was super nice and helpful whenever we had questions.

The space has evolved from a canvas tent to a beautiful structure tucked away in a very private location on the Neversink River. The site has a bald Eagles nest right in view for you to watch and enjoy! This is truly a "one of a kind" type of place! We have many awesome 5 star reviews from guests on hipcamp.com. Bald Eagles nest right on the river next to the site! Amazing view of the Eagles and baby eaglets yearly! There is another eagles nest shortly up river as well! The site is exclusively yours when booked! No other guests or anyone around you or the site. Tucked away nicely!
