The cabin was well-furnished and immaculate. The setting is peacefully remote. Sitting on the front porch and hearing only raindrops and chirping birds was memorable. The host is welcoming and helpful. We would stay here again.
The cabin was perfect. Our friends were birders. We enjoyed the morning bird noises and sightings with our morning coffee on the porch. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay there again in the future. It would be lovely anytime of year and in any weather.
We had a great short stay at the cabin. Cabin was clean, Wik was a helpful host and communication was great. The property is beautiful and peaceful but convenient to attractions. Kitchen was well stocked for what you need, and beds were comfy. Sauna was a nice treat.
We had a great time at the cabin. We enjoyed our coffee on the porch each morning overlooking the gorgeous views of the property. Enjoyed walking through the trails on the property, and visiting with the horses. We were able to see some deer and a fox as well. Great peaceful, relaxing getaway.
We had a wonderful stay and our host was extremely personable and welcoming. He gave us several recommendations for places to eat (Gordonsville Ice House had phenomenal fried chicken!) and offered tours of the property, which was very expansive. It was well appointed inside and we had a very comfortable and relaxing time. Highly recommend checking out this unique and special property!
Just stayed for my wifes birthday weekend...Everything was outstanding and exceeded expectations. I dont think we've stayed in a better short term rental. The cabin is situated near 2 ponds with great views of rolling hills and great fishing! Coffee in the morning on the front porch was great as well. Loved the proximity to a few of our favorite wineries. Really lovely. Wik was a great host, very informative and attentive! We will definitely be back!
A beautiful property & house, a perfect spot for a getaway. They had everything you needed and Wik was a great host, who was very responsiveness to every question we had
This house was such a gem! Beautiful property to explore and the cabin was such a treat. Very well-kept and such an interesting history. The owner was also always readily available for anything we needed!
Beautiful, peaceful property! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here. The cabin is beautiful, clean and set up with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!
Absolutely amazing property. Owner was extremely attentive to everything. The views were amazing and we were able to see deer and wild turkey during our stay along with the beautiful horses they have.
Absolutely beautiful and peaceful setting! My family stayed here the week leading up to our daughter's wedding and the cabin had everything we needed to relax as we made finally preparations. Wik is a very attentive host, ready to respond if you should need anything during your stay. We would definitely return!
The cabin was beautifully decorated and had every amenity imaginable. The sauna and the fishing pier were a huge hit with our family. We relaxed in the covered porch drinking our coffee in the mornings and hiked in the nearby trails; A perfect family stay. We will be back!
What a great spot! The home and property are truly amazing, and our kids had a terrific time fishing at the different ponds. Wik is a great host and we’d be happy to come back, a great trip all around.
Great place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Cabin was very clean and had great bathrooms. Host greeted us and showed us the property at the beginning of our stay and was available on site our entire stay. Will definitely try to book it again if ever in thearea again.
