Amazing Views at Mountain Mist

We had a great time at Mountain Mist! We loved the view, the bed was comfortable, and its pet friendly. It rained the day we arrived but the sum came out and we were treated to a spectacular rainbow over the valley. The cottage was clean, had all the amenities we needed. There is no fireplace, but there is a fire pit. We really enjoyed our stay.

AMAZ-BOMBS!!

Wishing there was 20 stars to click on for LOCATION! Our girls trip weekend was one of the best ones yet! We so enjoyed it all! Waking up with the sun rise on the mountains was spectacular! The cabin was exactly how it was described and loved the fire pit and hot tub to boot! I usually don't want to go back from somewhere we've been, always want to go somewhere new. But, this is DEFINITELY on my list of places to go back too! Next time with my husband! Thank you so much!

Beautiful Little Cabin with an Unbeatable View

Just finished staying here and we loved it! Despite being rained out (unfortunately missed out on having a bonfire) we had a cozy little stay indoors. This cabin is the perfect size for 2 people or a couple with a child. Everything was clean and well cared for. We had one issue where the coffee maker was broken and the office brought another one for us. Whether in rain, shine or fog, the view is amazing and the bedrooms both have big windows to look out of. Also, stopped by The Lodge restaurant and really enjoyed it! Try to go during nice weather months and you'll really get the full experience!

The Perfect Long Weekend

This was our fourth cabin on Lydia Mountain and may hold the top spot for views. The fog in the valley in the morning was magical, and once it burned off the views were amazing. The cabin had everything we could have asked for (minus a dishwasher, missed that in the description) and was perfectly clean and maintained. Thank you to the owners for sharing such a special retreat.

Great getaway!!

Wonderful place to celebrate my birthday! Views were gorgeous! Be careful with the roads if you’re going up in the winter LOL. Thank god for 4x4. The hot tub and fire pit provided lots of entertainment and is within reasonable driving distance for hiking and tours - even though Skyline was closed due to weather. We made it work!! Definitely will stay again but may try another cabin next time! Thank you!!

Absolutely perfect

We visited for a wedding at the lodge. We weren’t aware that it wasn’t on the property but we were still so pleased with our stay. The cabin is cute, everything you need (minus a dishwasher) that didn’t bother us at all though. It was very clean! Hot tub was clean. Even my son who doesn’t like to leave the house made a comment about how nice it was! We will definitely be back! It is on the mountain. Would suggest bringing a 4 wheel drive vehicle. In all it was a beautiful trip. We can’t wait for the next one.

Great views and location. Broken hottub

We enjoyed the views and location. However, half of our entertainment plans was built on hot tub. Once we got to the property hot tub wasn’t working. Called office. Maintenance said pump is out and needs to be replaced. No partial refunds, future credits. We paid full price for something that is not delivered. Be aware…

Not A Great Stay

This is my third time staying at the Lydia Mountain cabins. The hot tub in this unit did not work and a maintenance guy came out twice and it still would not get above 80° and kept cutting off. We were unable to use the hot tub, which was a big reason we come every year. Also, there was a hornets nest outside somewhere so hornets were all around the deck & it was difficult to go outside and enjoy the view. The AC wasn’t working downstairs. The battery was dead in the remote so the maintenance man had to go get batteries and this was Saturday morning when he came to look at the hot tub for the second time. I called the office on Saturday after the hot tub still wasn’t working and asked if we could switch units, the man said he would call me back & never did. Lastly, some of the farm doors were off track so that made it pretty difficult to be able to close the bathroom door and use the restroom.
