Yard unkept, weeds as tall as me. Should say it’s a duplex in the narrative because that was a surprise. Hair in bed and all over bathroom. Booked for 4 nights and left after one night.

Hi Deanna, Sorry we missed your expectations with our home. If you would have made us aware of your displeasure with the state of the yard and home we would have quickly contacted our yard maintenance service and cleaners to resolve the situation. Being that we are in the middle of a hot and wet summer in Memphis, grass and weeds grow quickly and you happen to catch us in between cuts, but again this could have been addressed quickly if you would have made us aware. The home is a duplex, on a corner lot, with two completely separate and private units each with their own entrance and driveway. We discussed this with you and that the only potentially shared space is the backyard and that we could prevent the other unit from using the backyard space during your stay, if that was important to you. Again, we received no response. We are truly sorry that you chose to leave early, but if you would have communicated these issues to us, we would have most certainly been able to quickly accommodate your concerns. We hope you will give future hosts this courtesy, rather than leaving without explanation and issuing a poor review. If any readers have questions or concerns with this review, please message us for further explanation and we hope to host you soon.

Amazing!!

The house was perfect for me and my lady!! Very nicely put together and I appreciate that. They actually took time to make the property look good. I highly recommend this house. Plus it’s close to everything. Next time you are visiting Memphis definitely get this house.

Location supreme. A lovely crisp cottage.

We visited our child for family weekend at Rhodes college. We made a home cooked meal, played board games and let her sleep in the clean and quiet. We loved the grocery, pub and restaurants across the street with friendly neighbors. A charming and authentic neighborhood. The house was as pictured, super clean and welcoming. Our hosts were responsive and seemed eager to make our visit a memorable one. Memphis is such a fabulous city. We are always discovering something new and this gem away from the tourist traps but convenient to the college, the park, and all of our favorite local spots was ideal. Highly recommend!
