Everything about our stay was absolutely great. The house is gorgeous, spacious, and clean, not to mention well-stocked and very easy to find. Amanda was communicative and helpful, and we enjoyed our visit so much. Hope to make it back in the future!
This is a beautiful cozy cabin to stay at for all your outdoor activities. The cabin was very clean and had all the essentials for cooking. The location is close to everything we needed for supplies, groceries, gas, and dining. Amanda was very good at communicating with us. We are looking forward to staying here again for skiing and snowmobiling!! Thank You
Our family of 6 plus one pup spent a wonderful 3 nights at the Rangeley Cabin. There was plenty of space for the teens to spread out and the wood stove made the house super cozy in no time. The ride to Saddleback was quicker than we expected and we like being central between Rangeley village and Oquossoc. All around great stay and we hope to return!
The cabin is just as advertised, it was really lovely inside, had many amenities, the kitchen was well stocked and the living/dining area was a great place to relax. The porch had a nice view and was great for morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The trip to town was only about 5 minutes so it was pretty conveniently located too. Overall a relaxing stay.
Loved our stay at the cabin. The downstairs space was perfect to store our ski gear. House was well organized and the perfect amount of space for 2 families. Thank you-it was great!
We stayed at the plush cabin for a long weekend while we skied at Saddleback. It was perfect! Clean, cozy, convenient and comfortable. Host was wonderful - super friendly and responsive. The place was toasty warm when we arrived and during our stay. (There are extra heaters in the bathroom and room with bunk beds that help if you have the fireplace cranking right next to the thermostat like we did.) We’ll definitely try to book again for our next trip to Rangeley!
Location was great! Short distance from town and a short distance to where our daughter was getting married. We had a couple minor hiccups with the stay but the owners were GREAT! Highly recommend
The home has everything you need. Plenty of space to gather, a great view, a peaceful setting, and all the little conveniences to feel like home. We were on a fishing trip, and everything we needed to make meals was available, as well as games/tv/space to unwind at night. Communication was easy and pleasant, there are notes in the house explaining various devices, and check-in was simple. I would definitely stay there again.
This spacious ski house was great for our group of skiers. Cozy living room with beautiful wood stove and large dining table were super for gatherings. Rangeley is adorable and house was 15 ish min to Saddleback. Loved it.
Me and my husband would love to come back . We cannot said enough about this place, love every part of the house and the surrounding areas. The owner was there if I had any question or needed anything. Thank you Beth &Rex
We had the BEST stay! We rented this cabin for our Saddleback ski vacation for four nights. Amanda couldn't have been more accommodating and wonderful to communicate with. The cabin was very clean, organized and fresh. The cabin is in great condition, beautifully decorated and has a great cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed our Ski Apres at the cabin, watched movies, had fires in the wood stove and some of the best sleep i have had in a long time. We only needed the cabin for 4 people, however we could have had another family if needed, very easily! Everything was exactly as depicted in the description on VRBO. Great location, great cabin, great hosts!!We would rent this cabin again and again.Thank you, Amanda for everything!
Property was as advertised in listing and then some! One of the best places we have stayed at in Rangeley. Kitchen was well equipped with anything you may need. I cooked a Thanksgiving meal and although I brought a lot of my own supplies, I probably could have done without! The place was extremely clean and really comfy beds. Hosts made check in so simple and even turned the heat up before arrival so we were welcomed by a warm home. Would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay in Rangeley!
Had a great time! The house is beautiful and loved everything about it! Super cute and clean! Couldn’t have asked for a better hostess! Amanda was quick to reply with my questions and very helpful! Would recommend this place to anyone!! Definitely would go back!!
Thank you for everything Amanda Wallace!

We found this property after deciding to ski Saddleback at the last minute. We've rented in Rangeley for years and have to say that the owners of this house were the easiest to work with. All of our requests were met with a smile. The house is on a dead-end street with lots of privacy. They've thought of everything to make your stay very comfortable!! Thank you so much for everything!
This home has incredible views of the mountains and lake. This was our first visit to the area and there are lots of great things to do nearby. We went skiing, hiking, and enjoyed a few of the many local restaurants and the bowling alley. The house is very well thought out. The beds were comfortable. The bunk room was cool although it was just three of us. They have a great mudroom area when you come in out of the snow. It was the perfect Basecamp for exploring the area . Close to everything you need. Thanks for having us!
I came here with my best friend of 22 years for a break from the Texas heat. We absolutely loved everything about this house. The location was easy to find , yet tucked away nicely off the road. The windows in the living room are tall and wide and allow the breathtaking scenery of the mountains to fill the room. We loved kitchen and the wood burning stove (it was in the 30s at night during our stay). The stove kept us warm all night! The bathroom was spacious and beautifully updated. Lots of extra blankets and pillows. My favorite part of the house was definitely the views in the living room. We had coffee on the balcony too. The host was easy to contact and fast to respond. Couldn't have asked for a better getaway in Maine during the peak foliage. Will definitely come back here next year !!!
Our family spent the entire summer at this very well appointed camp in Rangeley. Lots of space for the littles on the occassional raining day and close to downtown Rangeley for library, beach, and dinner runs.

A native Mainer and a northern New Yorker, we've made Maine our home together for over 15 years. Our adventurous young family loves to explore the coastline, mountains, and lakes of Maine in all seasons, and Rangeley is the complete package!
Why they chose this property
Having fallen in love with Saddleback many years ago, and especially since its reopening and revisioning in 2020, when we found this home we knew it'd be the perfect home base to explore the area, ski in the winter, and enable us to offer others the opportunity to explore this region we love.
What makes this property unique
Super accessible just off Rt. 4, yet very private, our cabin is right between the villages of Rangeley and Oquossoc. Facing the western sky, Dodge Pond and sunset views from our living room and large deck are not to be missed. Only 11 miles from Saddleback, 2 miles from the nearest boat launch or public swimming and fishing, and even less from Maine's Interconnected Trail System (ITS) for snowmobiling we are right in the middle of it all - the perfect, cozy home base for exploring the western mountains of Maine and the Rangeley Lakes region.
