The Neighborhood:
Westgate is a community within the Hilltop area of Columbus, Ohio. It was partially constructed on land that formerly housed the American Civil War Camp Chase and a Confederate prison. After the Civil War, the land was purchased by Joseph Binns and his associates with the intent to start a Quaker community. These plans failed to materialize and the land was developed as a "streetcar suburb" in the 1920s.[1] Located 4 miles (6.4 km) west of downtown, the neighborhood is home to Westgate Park and Recreation Center, Westgate Alternative Elementary School, St. Mary Magdalene Church and school, and Parkview United Methodist Church. 4,500 residents live within the Westgate boundaries, most in single family houses.
The Columbus Dispatch named Westgate one of the most affordable neighborhoods in the City of Columbus in October 2008.[1]
Westgate is located 4 miles (6.4 km) west of Downtown Columbus and is bounded by W. Broad Street to the north, Wilson rd to the west, Sullivant Avenue to the south, and Hague to the east.

Everything went well from communication through to checkout. We were within easy driving distance to all great Columbus destinations. The beds were first rate.
Definitely a nice little home for my family's short stay in Columbus. The house was clean, conveniently located, and the neighborhood was quiet. We will definitely look up this property and the owner again the next time we head to Columbus.
Our family of three, along with my mother, traveled from New York to visit the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium! We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. We had everything we needed and the garden area behind the home was just gorgeous. Communication with the homeowner was excellent. We would absolutely stay here again!
On the day of check-in, the host provided all necessary information. The home was clean, had everything you could expect to utilize while visiting, and nothing was out of place. We needed for nothing during our stay. It was a cozy and rather eclectic home with tasteful decorations throughout. There were Bluetooth speakers we listened to, several TV's to enjoy, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Should I find the need to visit Ohio again, I will absolutely book this wonderful home.
My husband and I travelled with our son and my parents. This house had all the comforts you could think of. Kitchen was well stocked and all linens were fresh and clean. The entire house is well taken care of and very clean as well. Love the open floor plan. We also loved the QR code of how to use the TV, very helpful! The deck, garden with the little pathway and the gazebo in the backyard was very nice. We didn’t get to use it because of the weather, but it was beautiful to admire. Would stay again if we are in the area.
One of the cleaner places I have stayed at. Nice kitchen. Decent neighborhood. Fenced in yard with not much grass but was still great for my dog. Beds were pretty comfortable. Second bathroom was actually down in the basement. Street parking. Overall was a good place to stay. Would come back here
