Quite community, wonderful lake

Despite two day long thunderstorm, we spend wonderful time: beautiful lake, great to swim and for kayaking; my teenager girls enjoyed diving board; unlike many other places we stayed in the past, good food supermarkets and many restaurants are nearby.

Very cozy cabin. The area near the lake is very peaceful and quiet. The grill on the deck is a big plus. The fireplace in the cabin is very nice and adds to a romantic atmosphere. We would definitely try to book a trip in Fall!

Unforgettable Views

I was highly fortunate to hike multiple trails, all only a 10-15 minute drive from the cabin, All views were immaculate, and the Appalachian boardwalk trail was unforgettable. The house is gorgeous, in a perfect location, and the lake beside it is incredibly relaxing. You will not regret staying here.

Great cabin stay!

A beautiful cabin in a nice and quiet community. I stayed here with my boy Bruce (dog friendly)! The cabin had all the amenities you could ask for while still having that rustic and outdoorsy feel. It was my home base while in the area for the Spartan race and did not disappoint! Much of what the area has to offer was within a 20 minute drive. Debra was also very communicative and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Cozy Cabin!!

Wonderful cabin in a nice lake community! Great wood stove/fireplace and plenty of heaters all around if you need! Much roomier inside than you would think! Perfect communication with very accommodating owner…check in process couldn’t have been easier. On a rainy weekend the streaming tv saved the day!

Great Cozy Cabin

This was the perfect location for a quiet weekend away from home. Despite the authenticity of the log cabin, the Wi-Fi and televisions were great amenities. A full kitchen allowed us the freedom to cook our meals and the fireplace plus heaters made sure we stayed toasty through the night. Debra is a great host, very welcoming and communicative through the whole process, would definitely recommend.

Debra was an amazing host. She was so friendly and responsive. The cabin far exceeded or expectations. It was so adorable, quaint, cozy and comfortable. The outdoor area was full of everything that you need to relax and enjoy the quiet around you! I can't recommend this place enough I cannot wait to go back!

Shut in for the weekend

Clean, everything we needed was already there. Plenty of wood to keep the fireplace going for weekend and then some. There were 5 of us and 2 dogs and we had plenty of space to spread out play board, games, cook, and just relax, was great overall, sad to be back home. Communication was simple when i had a question, likely go back in a month or so when its warmer.

My favorite stay yet

We absolutely loved Debra's place! It was the perfect setting for a weekend getaway. The cabin was well adorned and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the amazing Lake Wallkill community. We felt like we were immersed in nature but at the same time we're close to Mountain Creek resort for biking and many stores/great restaurants. Being right next to the lake was great for enjoying sunrises and sunsets too and it was a quick walk from the front door. Debra was an outstanding host-her communication was top notch and we even had a brief issue with water that she took care of as soon as I told her. And she was so friendly, it was really refreshing to have that kind of experience! There wasn't a single negative and I'm so happy we were able to stay. We are already looking to plan our next visit! Highly recommend this lovely cabin.

Wonderful cosy Cabin in Lake community

My husband, daughter (12), and I had an amazing time with our dog at Debbie’s log cabin. It looks small from the outside, but the inside is surprisingly big! The home FAR EXCEEDED our expectations, the photos do not do the place justice! It’s an open plan kitchen, dining room & living room, fully equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed walking our dog through the Lakeside neighborhood, relaxing in the home with the fireplace burning, and were close enough to Mountain Creek to go snowboarding. A great place all in all!
