Situateded in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg. Walking distance to everything and right outside of the National Park.

Getting Around:
Bear Pause offers free onsite parking for guests. You can walk to everything downtown Gatlinburg has to offer. There is public parking throughout the city and ride-share services are available.

Other Things to Note:
There are electric vehicle chargers located just across the street at Bennet's BBQ.
The unit is located right next door to the Ober Gatlinburg Tram station for quick and easy access to excellent skiing and snowboarding slopes.

Excellent Location! Clean, quiet, comfortable, with a seamless checkin/out. Not the Hilton - but not the Hilton price either. Everything we needed for our stay. We'll be back!

Great place and great location!

Great location, super cute condo only a couple minute walk to the main strip in Gatlinburg. The condo was great, very clean, nicely decorated, equipped with everything you need and very quiet. Only recommendation for the future would be to consider a dishwasher and maybe a ceiling fan for the bedroom. Overall it was perfect, really enjoyed our stay!!

Wonderful place to stay!

We spent 3 nights here and it was amazing! Everything from communication with the owner to the unit itself could not have been better. Unit was super clean, very spacious, and just downright cozy! It is in close proximity to the main drag which was awesome for us. I highly recommend staying here!

This little spot was perfect for the hubby and I. No bells and whistles, just the “bear” necessities we needed for a nice weekend away. Convenient location within walking distance to all the major attractions. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

Bear Pause Retreat

We stayed for a year late 30th anniversary trip. Apartment was in a great location to walk to anything in downtown. Easy access on the back road so it was convenient to going to other places also. Nice accommodations and amazing host who checked in with us during our stay! Would definitely book again with them!

Updates needed

The property was clean, well appointed and easy to access. However, we found the bed to be uncomfortable, carpet in need of replacement along with the spigot in the shower which was loose.

Few day in Gatlinburg

Nick was a great host. The too Was clean and Communication was great! I was brave and brought my pregnant wife and 4 kids 8 and under into this space. The roll out beds that were available were great and the kids loved taking turns. The location was in walking distance of so many great attractions downtown. Our short trip was a blast.

A Comfortable Stay!

Our family recently stayed in Bear Pause at Oak Square Condominiums and we can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed it! We had an event at the convention center and it was very easy and close to everything and within walking distance. There was plenty of room for my family of 5. My girls felt comfortable and safe. It was very nicely decorated and very clean. We would definitely stay there again when visiting Gatlinburg.

Gorgeous getaway in Gatlinburg!

This place was so cute! It was within walking distance of so many restaurants, and was SUPER close to the Smoky Mountains! We spent most of our time in the Smokys (absolutely gorgeous weekend with amazing fall colors). The property owner was communicative and followed up several times throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. There is wifi, but streaming football games was tough because the wifi kept going out, but we were honestly so tired from our long days of hiking, I wasn't too annoyed. Overall great place that was clean and quiet and had BEAR-y cute decorations.

Quick break

I really don't have much to add that hadn't been said. Great communication. Great location. Adequate facilities. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We walked to so many close by places where parking would have been a real hassle. The pools seemed clean and not crowded however we had many things to do so didn't use them. While we were there anyway it was nice and quite so I can only assume that's the norm.

So cozy & perfect location

We loved our condo. It was cozy and location was walking distance from several things. It was clean, smelled good, never had a problem with parking, and the indoor pool was an awesome bonus. It was clean and never crowded. We would absolutely stay again!!
