What an incredible home!! We were in town for a family gathering and the house privided us ample space for privacy and family time, whether in the glorious sun-room, dining room, or around the kitchen counter. The hosts were responsive and the house was much more than we expected. The location was perfect for us!!

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We're so glad the home exceeded your expectations and that your family had the perfect mix of together time and space to spread out. The sunroom is my favorite room for sure! Hope to host your family again!
The hosts were very helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. It's a big house and the mini split AC units on the 3rd floor kept it very comfortable (even with the heat advisory). The arcade room downstairs was a big hit with our group!
This place is amazing. Great location- easy to access local bars, stores and the highway between St. Paul and minneapolis. Rented this for my husbands surprise 40th with 14 staying in the home and then a dinner of 30 one night. It was so accommodating for all sleep over guests- beautiful large gathering areas inside and arcade in the basement. Two kitchens to feed and house that many dudes and if I plan something like this again- will use this location. Responsive owners who were very accommodating. Love this place and would stay again.
This house was absolutely gorgeous and had plenty of space for our large group that included small children. We appreciated the large number of bedrooms and bathrooms! The neighborhood, Cathedral Hill, is beautiful and walkable. We were all very impressed with the property and would stay here again.
Nothing could have prepared me for how lovely this property is in person! The ceilings are SO high and the rooms are spacious. Super well kept, incredibly clean, perfect location (we walked everywhere)! Would recommend to anyone. Our host was also very gracious, really easy to work with, and just so helpful overall. Would rate 6 stars for every category if I could.
We absolutely loved this house! Very clean & had everything we could imagine! Rachel was super heloful!! I would highly recommend staying here!!! Hope we get to come back!!
This house is so fabulous. Our family of 22 members was able to stay together during our Oma’s memorial service. It accommodated all we needed and more! Thank you for the wonderful place to say goodbye. Oma sat in the throne chair many holidays before this.
We had a group of 11 in St. Paul for a family wedding. It was great that we could all stay in one beautiful house. 10 bedrooms! One block from the wedding venue!
We stayed in this property while attending our daughter's wedding. It was plenty big for the eleven of us to stay in and enjoy food and drinks and play games in the evening. The kitchen was well-stocked. The arcade in the basement was a hit: Skee Ball, Ms. Pacman, and pinball. It is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood a few blocks from the Cathedral, and it was lovely to sit in the shade on the big front porch and have a glass of wine. The property manager responded quickly to our two questions. Would definitely recommend for large groups.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! It looks misleadingly small from the outside and the photos don’t do it justice. This 150 year old house is beautifully updated in (two!!) kitchens and all bathrooms, but old charm remains with the gorgeous millwork and high ceilings. The house goes on and on - it took a bit to get our bearings! Ten bedrooms were perfect for our group of 21. Many gorgeous mansions are nearby and make for a lovely walk. There is a playground and great restaurants in a short walking distance (the Louisiana Cafe had a wonderful breakfast). The host was responsive and check in and out was easy. The kitchen was well stocked, and the game room had great games. Overall, it was a fantastic stay!
After our stay, we all wanted to live here permanently. Great location for walking, a variety of sitting rooms, fully appointed kitchens, comfortable beds, and updated bathrooms- what's not to love? Thanks for letting us live the Cathedral Hill mansion life for a weekend,
The non-profit I work for needed a place for a planning retreat. I was SO glad to have found this place. Colleagues came in from all over the country and there was room for everyone. We stayed for three nights - cooked our meals at the house, had meetings all day, and were able to relax and socialize in the evenings. The house is beautiful, the kitchen is gorgeous, and we held our meetings in the sunroom. I would definitely reserve this place for future planning retreats!
We had a family gathering with a big meal. The house was well appointed with plenty of room to gather. Everyone slept comfortably. Great neighborhood for walking, running, playing at the park and restaurants. We will come back! Than you Rachael!!
We had a group of 23 ages 3-58. Kids loved it. Everything worked great, updated nicely. Street parking accommodated all our vehicles fine. Neighborhood seemed safe. Maybe only suggestion, add mirrors to the bedroooms would be helpful so free up bathroom for makeop etc.
This property is lovely—clear that Rachael and Andy put a lot of work in to make it shine. We stayed for a family reunion and were impressed by the well appointed rooms and quality of the space.
It snowed one night and Andy came over ASAP to shovel and clear the wall. Thanks for everything!
We enjoyed our time with family and friends in this fantastic house and neighborhood of Saint Paul. The sleeping arrangements were great for many families with four generations ranging from great grandchildren to great grandparents. Both kitchens were well stocked. We used the refrigerator in both kitchens but the main kitchen was so well stocked that we did not have to cook in both kitchens. There was plenty of seating space to play games and have great family time. We went on many walks and found wonderful restaurants and coffee shops right in the neighborhood. We will definitely go back if the opportunity to plan another get together comes up.

I’m local to the Twin Cities and spend most of my time with my kids. I enjoy gardening and being outdoors, and recently I’ve been doing some substitute teaching in subjects like history, math, music, and Spanish.
Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood because it’s very walkable, with beautiful architecture and lots of great restaurants, parks, and local shops nearby.
What makes this property unique
This is one of those houses where people walk in and immediately say “this is perfect.” It’s a mix of historic character and fun, with a layout that makes it easy for big groups to be together without feeling crowded. Whether it’s hanging out, celebrating something, or just having space to relax, it tends to feel like a private retreat in the middle of the city.
