Great location, nice place, well equipped - we loved it!

This studio is all we needed for our stay of a few days - nice pool and hot tub to relax, well equipped, grill, clean - we'll be back!

Enjoyed the hot tub

Access can be a problem if there is a lot of rain. Close to great hikes at Volcano National park. Enjoyed the high ceiling and pool. A friendly place where time comes to a standstill.

Black sand

Small complex (for now) easy access, close parking, nice pool area with grills and hot tub, beautiful view of ocean, short walk to a black sand beach with turquoises sunning, half hour from volcano national park. Loved it.

Pretty location near the beach

Room was a bit smaller than expected with kitchenette, no AC so very hot at night. Mattress was a bit mushy and roof over patio leaked onto the table when it rained. Not much privacy since you can hear all neighbors. Very picturesque but probably wouldn’t stay there again.

Thank you for your comments on your recent stay. This is a studio condo and the photos online and sq footage description are accurate. At the current rental rate of $95 per night it is a great deal to have an entire condo with a kitchenette. None of the units in the complex are allowed to have AC as these units were positioned to take advantage of the trade winds that are typical for the area. The unit has 2 ceiling fans and additional stand up fan for usage in the event the tradewinds are light. I have not had any feedback regarding the mattress being less than comfortable, so I will investigate it and see if it needs to be flipped or replaced. Lastly the gutters were not on the newly added roof overhang at the time of your stay. My apologies about that as we get very little rain in our area and the gutters are scheduled for installation by the association soon.

Nice Quiet Place

if you're looking for a quite place to stay, this is the place. It's pretty remote here. The nearest town is 10 minutes away. The lanai has a view of the ocean. The place itself was clean. Kitchen had the basics for cooking. Also had plastic wrap and plastic bags. There was even some pancake mix. Bed was pretty soft. I don't think the mattress was old, but if you're wanting a firm mattress, you'll be disappointed. Overall felt pretty roomy for a studio. Screen to the lanai door was ripped a little, porch light was burnt out are my only complaints.
