The Home
Lower Stone Lodge is a private ground-level unit within a three-unit mountain property in Cascade.
The two bedrooms are positioned on opposite ends of the unit, providing added privacy for families and groups. Both bedrooms feature king beds, while one also includes a twin daybed with a twin trundle. The unit accommodates up to six guests.
The open living and dining area gives everyone a comfortable place to relax together after a day exploring the mountains. A full kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals during both short visits and longer stays.
The unit also includes one bathroom with a tiled shower.
Guests have access to a shared laundry room equipped with two washers and two dryers.

→ Need additional accommodations? Upper Stone Lodge and the stand-alone Stone Cottage are also located on the property. For larger gatherings, all three units can be reserved together as one rental, accommodating up to 14 guests.

Outdoors
Step outside to enjoy the mountain air and shared amenities throughout the property. Lower Stone Lodge guests have grill access along with shared use of TWO hot tubs and a propane firepit.
The shared game room above the garage features a pool table, air hockey, cornhole, board games, and more. Stairs are required to reach the game room, and the garage itself is not accessible to guests.
There is plenty of driveway parking available for Lower Stone Lodge guests.

Vacation in the woods.

This was a great vacation. Me and my daughter came up here to enjoy the change and temperature and the beautiful pine trees, and great sites to see. We went to pikes Peak, the Royal Gorge, Seven Falls and Santas workshop. It was a great vacation. The weather was awesome.!

Family Vacation

The location of the property compared to the places we were going to was really convenient! The condo was clean and my family really enjoyed the game room. The only downfall was the family in the upstairs condo stomping late at night and early in the morning.

Family weekend

Beautiful Mountain View and proximity to Woodland Park. Loved the hot tub and game room. Kitchen does not have any baking dishes/pans for the oven, so could not really cook meals or late night cookies. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Family visit

Great layout and fun extras on this rental. The floors are a bit thin when you have neighbors above you and the heater pipes make an interesting noise but nothing that a simple conversation with the neighbors and keeping the closet door closed didn't fix. Owners super easy to talk to and get a hold of. Felt like home away from home.

Nice place!

Property was as expected from pictures. Beds were comfortable too. Kitchen was lacking a few items- only 1 wine glass, could use a few more bowls for salads, steaming in microwave and some bakeware. Kleenex tissue would have nice too. I could find the washer and dryer.

We had a nice stay, but

We did truly have a nice stay. It was very convenient for us. However, there was no air conditioning. I know, in CO you typically don’t need it, but the back bedroom and bathroom to this property had no windows. There was only windows in the front bedroom and the front door. We left the front door open anytime we were there, but there was no screen door so bugs got in. My brother and sister in law that were staying with us ended up leaving early. The other thing we didn’t like was that there was a lot of noise and banging from the people upstairs. That was a little annoying. All and all, it was a nice stay, but we probably won’t stay again.

Fabulous Property, poor property management

To the owners of this property- it’s great. We enjoyed the location, the open floor plan and the amenities. However if I were the owner I would be looking for a new property management company. There’s no a/c. There are two windows in the unit. It was quite hot when we arrived and I looked for a fan. I finally found a broken box fan in a utility closet in the bathroom. I communicated this to “Nestago” the property management company, and they assured me they would drop off a fan if I left the broken one outside. A replacement fan was brought- sealed in a box requiring assembly with a phillips screwdriver. I just wanted to be comfortable. I didn’t want to assemble a fan. The first morning we woke up and find the only coffee maker is a Keurig. We brought coffee but not K cups. We search everywhere for K-cups…. Can’t find any. I contact property manager, “Nestago doesn’t provide K cups, sorry you didn’t know what kind of coffee maker we have”. I work in customer service. This response absolutely floored me. A Keurig is a very specific type of coffee maker that requires a custom container. At minimum the management should be leaving 4 K-cups for the first morning. There were no cleaning products of any kind outside dish soap and dishwasher tablets. No counter top spray, no windex. I like to keep the kitchen clean and it was a challenge, and irritating. We were only provided our door code. The laundry and game room each had different codes not given til i asked for them.
