Quaint, 900 sq ft 2 story home with a loft. It sits right next to Fountain Creek; the sleepy year round stream that is fed by the snow melt from Pikes Peak. The new well-equipped kitchen and downstairs bath were just completed. Open the windows and you'll hear the sound of the stream. On the deck is a grill and large table that seats 8-10. Across our bridge is a beautiful shaded lawn picnic area.
This home sleeps 8, including the sleeper sofa. Queen in the bedroom, double bed in the loft and bunk beds in the loft. There is a full bath with tub/shower upstairs and a new full bath with shower on the main level.
The new kitchen with serving bar will be a gathering place for sure.

This cabin was the perfect location for our vacation!! It is in the middle of Woodland Park and Manitou Springs. My husband and I loved having our morning coffee on the deck with the stream rolling by! We could not have asked for a better place to stay!!
Beautiful property, we enjoyed our morning coffee on the decks by the stream, evening strolls into GFM and rocking on the front porch in the over sized rocking chairs. It is a quite neighborhood. Well equipped, spacious house to relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
What a great place to stay! We wanted a mountain experience & this location did not disappoint. The creek was right out back and my three kids loved wading around & throwing in dandelions. The house was perfect for our family with a nice sized kitchen & bunk beds.
We cannot say enough about this property! It is well taken care of and every detail has been thoughtfully prepared. We arrived after a long day at a local amusement park and were greeted by a peaceful property where we felt very welcome. Check-in was simple, there was a very helpful binder of information, the house was immaculately clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. The location is beautiful and we found it close to all we wanted to do. We had deer to watch each morning and evening in the backyard.
We had a great stay for our sprig break vacation. The cabin was clean and the location was fantastic. Our family of 5 had no problems with sleeping arrangements or bathrooms in the cabin. There were lots of local activities that the kiddos got to enjoy. We were even greeted by several deer outside the cabin on our first day!
The owners made us feel welcome with Christmas lights and decor. The house was very homey and just what we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and dishes and the grill was perfect. Loved every minute
Cozy cabin getaway with a beautiful stream right in the back yard. Absolutely amazing to listen to the stream at night. Great porches for night sky gazing. Location is great, close to many exciting attractions. Definitely recommend!
Truthfully, the pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s a wonderful & cozy cabin-like home, stocked with most everything you could ever need, except for food. Our family had the most perfect and peaceful Thanksgiving holiday in the midst of this beautiful home and it’s scenic wintery wonderland near Pikes Peak! We hope to come back in the spring time!
Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house was very cozy and accommodating. The creek that ran next to the house was a soothing sound specially at night. Location was great close to nearby town and also had a nearby neighborhood playground with a frozen lake for kids to play on. Overall was amazing and Scott was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!
Beautiful stream right off deck. Loved having morning coffee there every morning. Could hear the stream from bedroom every night. Quiet area, convenient location. Saw the little mule deer family several times.
Comfortable beds, showers, easy to use kitchen. Would stay again.
We loved our stay in this cabin! The stream and deck were amazing and house had everything we needed. Location was great for accessing all the things we planned to do (Pike's cog rail, ziplining, rafting, golf, Garden of the Gods).
Our boys loved this cabin! Its so cool & has a great view and a creek in the backyard! Well worth the money spent, and in a very good location to all the activities around! We definitely recommend and we will definitely be going back!! :)
My husband and I had a wonderful vacation. The cabin was perfect; kitchen was roomy and well stocked, beds were comfortable, very clean. Outside in the back the deck was large, both grill and deck were in excellent condition, scenery was beautiful. I wanted to stay longer. Will plan on renting this cabin again.
The property was perfect and by a stream. We were in a quiet and peaceful area. It was a restful time to sit and listen to the creek and look out and up the mountain. You are near grocery stores, restaurants and gas stations. There's a park and lake nearby. My parents and I had a great time. Inside the cabin you had everything you needed - like your own home.
We had stayed here before and enjoyed our time. The cabin is in a great location, well-stocked and very clean. Our only issue is we couldn't figure out where to take the trash so we took it with us. Would definitely return. Thanks.
This cabin is located so close to all of the attractions of Colorado Springs with the feeling of seclusion. The stream is beautiful and with the balcony sitting area we just sat and listened to it.
I would have given this a 5 star but the bed were Really hard and the heater continually runs and is quite loud.
But overall Wonderful place to stay!
Thanks Scott for the use of your cabin. I cant express properly how pleased we were. Best stocked cabin I've seen, deer every night. My 4 yr old grandaughters 1st ever trip to Colorado & she loved walking & playing in the gentle stream. My daughter & son in law were very impressed as well. We will definitely be back.
Enjoyed reading history of area on pictures hanging on the walls.
Overall this place is a 15 on a scale of 10.
Thanks again.
Had a great time in the cabin. Nice stream out back off the deck. Stream was very relaxing. Deer came around between 3 and 4 pm. Cabin clean and well furnished. No need to bring any dishes. We ate multiple meals there and had every thing we needed, including the charcoal grill out back. Did not figure out the fireplace, but it all worked out well. The spiral staircase was cool and no problem for us and our luggage, but could be for some. We will consider staying there again next year!

Why they chose this property
The patriarch of our family purchased this property in 1957. His greatest joy was watching others enjoy the Colorado mountains he loved so much.
What makes this property unique
It's very unusual to find a beautiful cabin so close to conveniences yet affording a quiet restful retreat next to a clear mountain stream. All of the Colorado mountains can be explored in day trips from this central location.
