We have been hosting guest on the Outer Banks for over 12 years. We know how to treat our guests and what they are looking for in a vacation rental.

Wave Watcher has been updated from top to to bottom with all new flooring, new beds, linens, dishes, deck furniture and furnishings as well as fresh paint inside and out. One minute walk to the beach down a paved path. We are seasoned experienced owners who provide exceptional vacation experiences and hospitality for our guests Check out all of our FIVE STAR RATINGS here at our sister cottages VRBO 3904328 and VRBO 2258189.

Major updates includes all new kitchen, new beds, painting inside and out, furnishings and decor. Fully stocked chef's kitchen with everything you need to prepare family meals located on quiet dead end cu-de-sac with direct beach access is the perfect play spot after a day at the each. This house was amazing. We could see and hear the ocean everyday from our deck. The beach was a very short walk from the house. It is in a quiet neighbor as well. We enjoyed our trip and would go back in the future!!

The house was beautiful and spotless and was supplied with everything we needed while away from home. The layout was perfect for us and our three children. The little touches of board games, beach toys, and other beach gear was super helpful. The walk to the beach was convenient and made beach days easy. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend!

Wonderful Stay!

Home was just as described in listing, and met our needs well for our trip. It is a very easy walk to the beach. We found the on site beach equipment very handy as we didn't have to pack beach chairs, boogie boards or toys for the kids. Communication with the owner was always prompt, helpful and kind.

This was probably one of the cleanest homes I’ve ever stayed at! The location was perfect for us and it was nice to be a short walk away from the beach. Nelene was great and was quick to respond. We would love to stay at this home again in the future.

AWESOME TIME WITH FAMILY!!

We had a wonderful time at Wave Watcher. The home was perfect for our family of six and Nelene could not have been more helpful and responsive while we were there. It was a very short walk to the ocean and the views from the porch were gorgeous! We will definitely be back!!

We absolutely loved our stay! The home is so clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen has everything you need- especially Tupperware! The outdoor shower is nicer than most indoor showers. The walk to the beach is so easy and short. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to come again.

We loved our stay!

This house was beautiful and VERY clean. It was a short walk across the street to the beach and 10 minute drive to plenty of great restaurants and bars. You can feel the breeze from the ocean and watch the waves. We were staying with our 15 month old and the owners took the time to baby proof! We really appreciated that and he had a great time while we didn’t have to worry. Highly recommend.

This was the best location ever. The house had all we needed to include linens, towels, kitchen items. We loved being able to walk to the beach and back to the house with our 8 month old. The outdoor shower was amazing and so useful. We had our dog as well but we had to be careful with the wild cactus on the property. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This house is wonderful! The short walk to the beach and the quiet neighborhood make it a perfect location. The house itself is immaculate and cozy. All instructions are perfectly clear and communication is flawless. I really can't think of anything to improve here. If we visit the Outer Banks in the future, this will be the first place we look!

Perfect OBX vacation

This was our first trip to the Outer Banks and this property did not disappoint. The location was excellent. The beach is just a short walk across the street and the house came equipped with beach chairs and boogie boards. Resturants, supermarkets and local attractions wete all just a short drive away. The house was really clean and up to date. The kitchen had all the utensils and pots and pans you would need. I give this house an A + and we would definitely stay here again in the future.

Location Location

This house was perfect for our family of 4. The location on a quiet street in Nags Head was wonderful. The beach was a quick walk away right out the back yard. It was an easy drive to sailing and horse back riding on Cape Hatteras. Multiple lighthouses were just minutes away. There were also a lot of restaurants just minutes away. The home was spotless and had everything we needed to cook meals. The multiple decks and patio area were used everyday. There were plenty of beach chairs and boogie boards for everyone. The owners were very kind and answered any questions quickly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this rental to anyone going to the Outer Banks.

We have been vacationing on the Outer Banks since we were teenagers. Lifelong residents of Virginia Beach, VA, It has always been our lifelong dream to own our own home on the Outer Banks. That dream became a reality in December of 2014. We decided to share our home with our guests for a few weeks during the summer. Since that time, we have added two additional vacation homes to our rental properties and this great property has been lovingly updated from inside out. All of our home has been updated, renovated, and cleaned to have it pristine and sparkling and ready for our guests. Our guests enjoy our home as much as we do as you can see from our reviews from previous vacationers.
*Owners wife is Licensed Real Estate Broker in Virginia and North Carolina.
