This was our group's first time traveling with a dog and the house is well set up for dogs. Overall it is just about a half a block to the pet friendly beach. The house was clean and perfect for our needs. The hosts are very easy to communicate with and helpful!

Just as advertised, great spot and well kept house. South Nags Head is a great location we frequent often because of its quiet beach community charm. Far enough away from the commercial districts, but close enough if that’s your interest or need. Plenty of space, nice views, and very clean. Look forward to our next visit and if available would definitely stay again at Nags Tale.

Coming from New Bern North Carolina, our stay was wonderful. Neet clean and pretty accommodations, only problem I didn't realize there were so many steps. Other than that very comfortable; if asked I would recommend. 5 minute drive to off-road onto the beach access, and 5 minute walk to the beach from the house. Less than 20 minutes to any restaurant or shopping area.

The house was perfect for our family. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to the beach and views of the ocean and sound. Close enough to get to restaurants, activities and the grocery store easily, but far enough away to enjoy the sounds of the ocean. Communication was excellent and the owner was very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay there! Close to the beach, beautiful sunsets and great weather! It had everything except matches/lighter for the charcoal grill or we couldn’t find it. I highly recommend this place!

Perfectly close to the beach and secluded!

Our stay at Nags Tale was wonderful! The home is in excellent proximity for close beach access, and the area does not feel crowded compared to farther north in Nags Head. The home offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’d enjoy staying here again!

We had a family reunion in Nags Head and had a great stay. The house is spacious and clean enough for 5 adults and 2 children. We loved walking to the beach and the upper balcony and sun room was a treat. Highly recommend!
