This welcoming beach home is one row back from the ocean, located at milepost 21 in South Nags Head. It is just a 3-minute walk—about 150 yards—to the beach access, with beautiful ocean and sound views from the sunrooms and newly updated decks.

The home sleeps up to 8 guests and includes 4 bedrooms: one king bedroom with en suite bathroom, one queen bedroom, one double bedroom, and one bedroom with twin beds. There are 3 bathrooms total.

The open-concept main floor features attractive new luxury vinyl plank flooring in grey ash, a new dining table for six, four new barstools, and an additional sunroom table seating four. The kitchen has brand-new appliances.

Dogs are welcome, with a maximum of 2 dogs and a $100 fee per dog.

Just as advertised, great spot and well kept house. South Nags Head is a great location we frequent often because of its quiet beach community charm. Far enough away from the commercial districts, but close enough if that’s your interest or need. Plenty of space, nice views, and very clean. Look forward to our next visit and if available would definitely stay again at Nags Tale.

Coming from New Bern North Carolina, our stay was wonderful. Neet clean and pretty accommodations, only problem I didn't realize there were so many steps. Other than that very comfortable; if asked I would recommend. 5 minute drive to off-road onto the beach access, and 5 minute walk to the beach from the house. Less than 20 minutes to any restaurant or shopping area.

The house was perfect for our family. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to the beach and views of the ocean and sound. Close enough to get to restaurants, activities and the grocery store easily, but far enough away to enjoy the sounds of the ocean. Communication was excellent and the owner was very friendly. Our stay at Nags Tale was wonderful! The home is in excellent proximity for close beach access, and the area does not feel crowded compared to farther north in Nags Head. The home offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’d enjoy staying here again!

Great stay in Nags Head!

We had a family reunion in Nags Head and had a great stay. The house is spacious and clean enough for 5 adults and 2 children. We loved walking to the beach and the upper balcony and sun room was a treat. Highly recommend!

Laila & Ridley did not disappoint! The house is lovely, loaded with paintings and treasures from all over the world...plenty of room and had everything we might have needed. Short walk to the beach, doggies loved ! So did Mom & Dad Very quiet neighborhood...ventured out each day, everything was within a 15 minute drive. Would definitely rent again!
