An amazing property with incredible hosts. We couldn’t have had a more fabulous trip to this great city. Marius and Guilia were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend this property!

A beautiful duplex apartment in a stunning setting in the heart of Lucca which had eveything we needed for our stay. Our hosts could not have been more helpful and the communication was fantastic. Yes there are steep stairs from the street entrance to the penthouse apartment but they are worth it - I have a fear of stairs but trust me they are worth it for the fabulous views you get across the piazza on one side and the rooftops, hills and mountains on the terrace of the other side which means you get the buzz of the tourists, bars and restaurants on one side and the tranquility on the other - a perfect blend. We would highly recommend this wonderul apartment and wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we return to lovely Lucca.

We had a wonderful stay here with our family of four. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and the location was absolutely fantastic! Overlooking the piazza made for a beautiful setting, and being in the heart of Lucca meant everything was within easy walking distance. We truly loved staying here.The communication from the hosts was outstanding. Giulia was excellent before our arrival, answering our questions promptly and making everything easy. Marius was equally fantastic during check-in and check-out. Both were friendly, responsive, and wonderful hosts.There are a few things future guests should know. Although the listing mentions parking, there is no on-site parking. Because the apartment is inside Lucca's ZTL, you'll need to park outside the zone and walk to the apartment if you have a car. It wasn't a major issue for us, but it's helpful to know in advance. Also, the apartment is in a beautiful historic building with approximately 50 steep, uneven stairs to reach the unit, plus another flight of stairs inside between the bedrooms and the kitchen/living area. We enjoyed the extra exercise and the character of the building, but guests with mobility concerns should be aware.Overall, we had an excellent stay and would happily return. If you're looking for a clean apartment in an unbeatable location and don't mind the stairs or the short walk from parking, this is an outstanding place to stay in Lucca!Thank you Giulia & Marius for making our stay memorable!
