Wonderfully Charming Oceanfront 1 Bedroom Condo!

This charming condo boasts oceanfront views, easy walking access to the beach via a private dune walkover, swimming pool, and is close to so much more. It is a short 10 minute drive to the Old City. Forty five minutes puts you into Jacksonville to the North and Daytona Beach to the South. It's just 2 hours to Orlando, and an hour to Gainesville as well!
This is a "King" Beachers Lodge 50% larger than most Beachers lodge condos.
The condo itself is wonderfully decorated with coastal charm, and stocked with everything you need for your stay. The kitchen is stocked for your small meals, the bedroom has all new linens and pillows, and cable tv and wifi are included as well.
There are shared grilling areas, room to bring your small trailer (bike week please!), and dog walking areas on the property. There are also several excellent dining choices within five minutes of the condo, and some outstanding shopping options within the same area.
Dogs up to 40lbs ok with approval, and additional cleaning fee.

Comfortable unit, excellent view, and great location! Lots of places within walking distance, and very close to key pick up. Pool and access to the beach were great, and the ability to bring along our dog was wonderful. Beacher's has nice little pet walk area, and a smoking area (if needed). Unit was well stocked with bedding, kitchen accessories, and even some beach items. We enjoyed our coffee on the patio and riding the waves. Hope we can come back soon!

Great location with cleanliness issues

The owner of the property has attempted to remodel the property. The location is great, beautiful view, on a great beach. Our issues were with the cleanliness of the condo. The shower had to be cleaned before we could use it. The air conditioner had a layer of dust all over the grill. Every time it Kicked on, I couldn’t help but think about the quality of the air. I was breathing. We checked out one day early and sent a message to the manager about our concerns. It has been over a week and we have not received any correspondence from the manager.

Beach stay

To pay a mandatory cleaning fee and to walk into a dirty floor with someone else’s hair was somewhat disconcerting. We were asked to do all of the dishes and take out the trash before leaving, which I would do anyway, but these rules with fees charged anyway seem to be getting a little out of hand. Beautiful view of the ocean..too bad it was raining our entire stay :(

Cute Condo with the best view

Location was perfect . View was amazing . The access to the beach was so easy and the pool was small but clean. There was plenty of food options in the area . Super quick drive to the Old city and only an hour and a half from Orlando we squeezed a Universal Studios day into our vacation because of the convenience. My only complaints would be the couch sofa is fully broken my daughter had to sleep on it as a couch because the mattress was broken and the bed in the bedroom was very hard . A new sofa couch and a good soft mattress topper would make this condo perfect. We would definitely stay again if those changes were made .

Crescent Beach Happy

The Condo is what it needs to be: 1-on beach, 2-great view, 3-clean & critter-free. Nice decor. Stove, oven & microwave all work great. The balcony furniture is great. No dishwasher but limited dish detergent not happy about that. If you want renters to wash dishes you should provide detergent! Floors could use a good deep steam cleaning. But they seem clean. Bed is comfortable. Air conditioning is fine. The tv is connected into the outlet that is on same circuit as overhead light, had to use extension cord to plug it into other outlet and turned off the overhead light for night tv viewing. Overall great experience.

Not quite as advertised

The sleeper sofa is broken - the bed dips down at the top and can’t be slept on safely. The kitchen doesn’t have anything to bake with, two of the cabinets are just door fronts without cabinets, and another set is locked. Pool was nice, beach access was nice too. Nice location. Deck was covered in mosquitoes by day 3 and unusable. Leading up to our stay, we had trouble getting responses from the property manager and they didn’t run my card 30 days before, instead calling me the day before I arrived because they just tried to run the card and it was expired. Was ok, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

No air conditioning

Clean property. Nice view. However minor issues were a bother. Small wall unit air conditioner not working in the bedroom. Tv in bedroom tied to overhead light, which you could not turn off without a remote control. Could not find a remote control To use for the light, which also had a fan which would have helped with no air in the bedroom and could only watch tv in bed if the overhead light was on. Called the rental office number. Said they would have someone out to check the air unit. Never came or called back. Worked out okay since it was cool the days we were there, but if it gets hot will not be good for renters.

great location - poor communication

The condo itself was wonderful - nicely decorated, clean, easily accessible. Communication with the owner however was dismal at best. 1) I was not sent check in instructions before my arrival, so after driving in a torrential rainstorm to the condo, I find i have to pick up my check in package at the RE office down the street in the dark; 2) I was not notified of pest control entering the condo and the door was left open upon my arrival later in the day. When I messaged the PM, he was barely apologetic, saying "you'll see nothing is missing" - not realizing I had personal items left in the room; 2) I was not notified AGAIN by the PM of construction work going on in the property - which resulted in on-site mgmt tagging my car with a 'tow notice" due to painting being done. When I went to the front desk, I informed them that I was receiving NO communication from the owner regarding any work or to move my car. They informed me they were indeed notifying all owners. This 2 week trip was to recover from my mom's passing - better communication would have prevented the above mentioned stresses. Your customers are the lifeline of your business - remember that.

The balcony had beautiful ocean views. The condo was clean and just as pictured. This was the first time we traveled with our pet and the complex was very pet friendly and everyone there was so nice. The entire area around the complex is pet friendly as well. We enjoyed taking our dog at St George street shopping and dining . They even had a dog menu to order from for our pet. The only snag we hit was picking up the keys on arrival as they were not in the packet and we had to contact the property manager and wait for him to arrive. Overall the condo, location and view were perfect. We will definitely be back. Loved this location.

We had a great time during our 3-day stay. 4th Floor unit with one bedroom and one kitchen/living space. Perfect for two adults and a dog. Very clean and equipped as needed. Wonderful balcony with excellent beach views. Nice community pool and walk-over to beach. Very pet friendly condo and very pet friendly beach. Key pickup and dropoff were very easy.

Great location and condo we loved it. Only issues were the bedroom ceiling fan didn't work which is needed in the Florida heat and tvs would not connect to apps Netflix etc. Absolutely would stay again. Very minor problems when on the beach as we're not in the room very much.

St. Augesting trip

The overall condo was ok. The balcony was the best part. Great views. The furniture in the condo was not comfortable at all. The loveseat was the only couch and was not big enough for both me and my husband to sit on. And it was very uncomfortable. The bedroom was good had a big king size bed. The kitchen needed more pots and pans for cooking. The trashcan looked like it had not been cleaned in awhile and was pretty disgusting to use. There also needs a better broom to clean the floor. The only broom was very old and worn out that did not really sweep up much.

Beach Retreat

Perfect for what we needed. Small place but very cute. My only suggestion would be that the door needs a deadbolt lock. Just having the basic lock did not seem very safe.
