An amazing location - quick drive to the zoo and Sacramento center and a grocery store right around the corner. Neighborhood was quiet and the private pool was so welcome in the heat!
Our host Rashad was very amazing and communicative throughout our stay, they were very kind and wanted to ensure that we had the best stay possible. The Poppy Haus was very beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our girls weekend trip! We hope to stay there again one day!
We had an excellent stay. Rashad was an excellent host and we appreciated his considerate communication. The house was spacious and warm--and we especially enjoyed the hot tub! We would definitely stay here again...
Really enjoyed our stay. The place was close to the RR museum, Old Town SAC, the ZOO, and the Crocker Museum of Art. All were worth the visit. And the swimming pool and hot tub were great to relax in. Plus the grocery store was almost in walking distance.
The location was amazing. It is 7 minutes from the zoo and other kid attractions and only 15 minutes from Old Sac and the Railroad Museum. We had a little trouble with the oven, it once we got it figured out, everything at the house was great. Our kids really loved the “game room” up stairs and loved saying hi to everyone through the little cubby holes.
We have an annual get together, and this was the perfect place! Nice big table to gather 'round, fun decor, plenty of sleeping areas. It rained most of the time so we couldn't enjoy outdoor fireplace, but had a great time inside.
This house was so cute! The check in/out process was easy. The house was very nice. It felt cozy but also very spacious and had plenty of cool activities for our group (game cabinet, lawn games, putting green, arcade game, etc). Overall we all had a great stay!
The Poppy Haus was perfect for our Christmas week family reunion of 7 that included 3 college age young adults and 4 older adults. The house is very comfortable and the layout was great for our group, with the large common area and the bonus upstairs room. We enjoyed all the amenities, including the coffee maker, TV’s, pool (for a cold plunge this time of year), hot tub, outdoor gas fire pit table, mini-golf, gas BBQ grill, large capacity washer and dryer, and plenty of parking in the driveway and inside the garage which includes a charger for EV’s. For groceries, there is a Safeway within walking distance, or a 4 minute drive. The location is central to all interesting places you’d want to visit in Sacramento and surrounding areas. Our host, Rashad, was welcoming and communicative.
We were traveling out to Sacramento for a family reunion. We had up to 6 teens and 5 adults at the house on any given night. There was plenty of space in the common areas for everyone to be comfortable. We had family meals, played games and sat and talked for hours. The beds were very nice and the hot tub was great. The location was central to everything and very convenient to restaurants and stores. I would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the area.
Lots of space, outdoor has putting green, lap pool and hot tub. The loft upstairs has two futon longer chairs that you could use as beds giving you an actual 5th room although no door. Had a nice coffee and creamer station stocked. New fridge. Nice decor. The only challenge for us was the 2 bathroom. Just had to pre plan showers
Our family and significant others stayed here for a wedding. The house fit all of us very well and we never felt crowded. The kids loved the pool and the hot tub. The outdoor fire place was great for the cool nights. Close to a grocery store and a nice park with a small farmer’s market on Sunday morning.
If you have a large group, I would recommend bringing some beach towels for the pool. Otherwise, the house has pretty much everything you need.
We enjoyed the lovely home and outdoor space with our family of six adults and two children (two years and one year old). The kitchen was well-equipped, and the TVs were great for watching March Madness basketball. The kids liked playing in the two side yards. We were close to some family-friendly activities (the Sacramento Zoo and Fairy Tale Town) and downtown events for a family wedding. CVS and Safeway were also just a short walk away. Rashad was a great communicator and provided us with a comprehensive and professional electronic welcome packet beforehand.
Listing was exactly what we got! Theres a ton of room here, yard was very entertaining (even in winter) and the decoration was very thoughtful. Pool toys and towels available, EV charger, games, and garage access. Our infant used the available crib which was already set up in the huge walk-in closet for us, saving us the use of an additional bedroom. Great set up. Host was ultra responsive and check out was VERY simple. All beds are memory foam which was tricky for some of our older bodies and pots/pans are a little minimal. Kids are begging to come back to THIS HOUSE.
