Awesome, private home

Loved this place and will be back! Comfortable beds, clean, well-stocked including spices, private pool and hot tub on a fantastic pool deck, mountain views with sunset, large fenced in yard for our dog Harper whol loved to run around. Quick drive to river walk and downtown.

Wonderful Weekend with Family

The property was wonderful. We had issues getting the oven to work the first day, but had a member of Avant on site same day to find a solution for us. The grill was needing some TLC however did the job while we were there. The pool was clean and refreshing and the beds were comfortable. Eight adults and one child and we did not feel on top of each other. Close to grocery store, restaurants and downtown Ashville with limited traffic. Would stay again.

It had plenty of space and food for our group. Wish it had been a little closer to Asheville and more accurate out the fire pit and pool area. Still felt safe and was clean and well kept.

Asheville Escape

Feels so private out in nature yet close to West Ashevile. Outdoor fun with the pool, hottub, firepit, outdoor dining and shaded swing! Cones equiped with baby amenities!

Great getaway

We had a great time! The property was perfect for us, our kids, and pup. The fenced in back yard was big enough for good fetch, the pool and hottub were awesome, the outside table got afternoon shade so all dinners could be outside. It was super close to a grocery store to stock up and Papa's Pizza was a hidden jem we found around the corner. Avantstay were great hosts and extremely attentive if we had any questions. I recommend this property and Avantstay for you trip to Asheville!

Pool and Hot tub

The well maintained pool and hot tub were the best part about this house. Fenced in yard for the dog, comfortable beds and convenient location were also great features. This home is older with a few updates. Its age shows and it’s pretty bare bones as far as furnishings go. It’s also located across the street from a tow yard. We didn’t mind so much as we spent all our time in the backyard. However it was active throughout the night and disturbed some sleepers. Overall we all enjoyed our stay.

We made the best out of it.

It was certainly not clean. The beds and bedding were great. The kitchen was definitely not modern. There is not a balcony like it said on the listing. The hot tub needs some tending to. The place really need some TLC. The front of the home has a towing company across the street. However the location was nice. Communication was impeccable. My only hope is that they will do some painting to clean up the place and make it look less dirty. Was

Family vacation

Overall the house worked great for our family. It was about 15 mins from downtown, which was the perfect distance between city and country life. The pool and hot tub were the highlights of the stay! We picked this house knowing we would be outside most of the time, and it was perfect for that, especially with the huge outdoor dining space. My only negative comment would be just got outdated the kitchen was. I didn’t realize it in the photos, however, we cooked every night and everything cooked just fine! It was more esthetic for me. Would definitely go back :)

Nice stay

We enjoyed the stay. Some of the kitchen appliances were old but we did not cook so it didn't matter. Hot tub functioned well and was hot. The house was large and functional. Beds were comfortable. Some of the updates were more DYI than professional, but this did not effect the functionality of the house. Master bathroom and shower works better for short people, but the other bathrooms and showers were larger. Overall this was a nice house with comfortable beds, TV's in each room, and very clean.

The pool was great (for sure the highlight), loved the welcome gift and liked being 15 minutes from Asheville. When the code didnt work at check in the customer service helped very quickly to get us in but for the price we paid over 1,700 for 3 nights there were alot of things we would of expected to be better. Some of AC units didnt work well and the rooms got warm during the nights, the screen door going to the pool deck kept getting stuck, the hot tub was cloudy and there was a vent missing and our 5 year old son got stuck in it and it hurt him, the stairs were very loud and not ideal when have little kids that go to bed before others and the house was old and not fixed up very well including one of the ovens not working. Also we found a camera and put it on the kitchen country.

We had a good stay overall. Lowlights: Home could use updates (old cabinets with worn paint, stained sofa cover, older double oven - top oven stopped working). Yard needed maintenance: grass was very high so dogs had to 'hop' through it, but we very much appreciated the fenced in side yard for them! Foliage encroached on the driveway & walkway. More a slight annoyance than a real issue. The home had the basics, but that was all - I'm guessing that has to do more with Avantstay's management rather than the owners, but that is a guess on my part. Ex: coffeemaker took cone filters, but there were none available and no way to know this is what was needed ahead of time. HIGHLIGHTS: VERY comfy beds & bedding, AMAZING pool/deck! Enjoyed the comfortable dining room chairs - spent hours talking around that table. Also, friend said pull-out sofa was the MOST comfortable she had ever slept on, high praise! We did not contact mgmt re: issues as they weren't major; we did enjoy our stay!

Great house for friends getting together and going out

The house was perfect for a group of friends having a weekend get together in the mountains. Overall everything was great with the house. Only complaint I would have was in relation to bedding and towels. While there were plenty of pool towels, there were not enough bath towels for a group of 8 adults. Also, the listing said there were two additional fold out beds and we were only able to find one in the house. I had reached out prior to checking in about the towels, but never received a reply. Everything else was perfect.
