Behind the front privacy fence lies this beautifully renovated 3 BD/3.5 BA home. Complete with a tropical private pool sanctuary. Owners have lovingly thought of every detail including 6 bikes and a GEM electric car (details on GEM car below). The front porch welcomes you with wide glass slider doors to an indoor/outdoor cozy living/kitchen area with everything needed. There is an option to grill/eat out side porch. Living rm has a smart TV equipped for personal streaming. Home is centrally located and walkable to beach & Duvall str.

Best Hosts and Fantastic Home

Over the past 15 years we've rented many a home in Key West, and without a doubt Fools Paradise is our new favorite. The home's floorplan is perfect for families and the outdoor space is phenomenal, as it is an extension of the interior living space. I can't say enough great things about the hosts--super responsive and very genuine about making our vacation one to remember. We booked our next trip to Fool's Paradise before we left!

Beyond our expectations

The home was impeccable. Clean and everything provided that we could think of needing. Wonderful owners, they were always available to us. Absolutely no complaints. Perfect location to walk to every thing. We have already booked this home for next year.

Wonderful stay in Key West

We have stayed in several houses in Key West, and this one is by far our favorite. Great location close to the beach and not far from Duvall Street. We so enjoyed the outdoor private space with the heated pool. Unlike some other houses, we really appreciated that we never ran out of hot water when several people were taking showers. The kitchen was well equipped and the house had some special features like music with Sonos. The owners were very responsive and helpful if we had any questions. We were so pleased that we have booked the house for next year.

Fool's Paradise

What we loved: Location was close enough to walk or bike to beaches, old town, restaurants and bars. Loved the privacy of the yard and pool. Loved the big front porch and the ability to open the sliding doors into the living space. The parking spaces allow for two cars which is a huge plus. The bikes are great with bike locks, baskets, rechargeable lights and a variety of sizes. Easy access to sunsets at Higgs Beach Pier or the Aids Pier. Easy walking distance to Butterfly Gardens (a must see for the birds as well) and the Garden club gardens near Higgs Beach. Also easy walk to Frenchy's Cafe for great breakfasts! Kitchen well stocked with glassware, mugs, dishes, multiple coffee makers, and dish towels. Bathrooms were great with high quality towels in large quantities. Loved the basket of beach towels! Starter stuff - dish soap, hand soap, TP, etc better than any home we have rented to date. What we didn't love: Construction next door means loud music and the sound of saws and hammers 6 days a week. Hopefully will be finished soon. The indoor dining space is limited - three people at most. The outside dining space is not inviting/comfortable and unusable if raining despite the awning. No desk chair in second bedroom, no night table on one side of bed in same room. Mattress toppers on all the beds. Low quality frying pans. Not a lot of sunshine - which would be a huge asset in the warmer months;) Priced as a Luxury Rental... but not really furnished as one.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Key West in 2017 and have spent one month each year in various vacation homes/properties enjoying both the town and boating on the vibrant blue waters. Key West is a feeling of freedom for us. It's one of our favorite places on earth. We started searching for a perfect cottage home that we would love staying in but could function as a home for others to enjoy. This property is a private oasis, close enough to have fun and be in the middle of everything but away from the Chaos when we want quiet.
