Nice Christmas Break

Nice area, 5 min walk to beach, 15 min walk to coffee shop and pizza. Did not like that playground was closed. Also did not like the 5 pm check in. Management company very stingy with TP and garbage bags and soap.

Wonderful Home, Management Company not very responsive

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was wonderful. It was spacious, clean and well stocked for our family of 6. When I initially booked the home, I was a little concerned about my young kids and the small canals/water right next to the home, but they are well protected and surrounded by fences that I felt much safer around once I saw them in person. The home is within walking distance to the beach (bay side), so it’s a shorter ‘beach’ than we’re used to. The pool and public beach access are a short drive. A golf cart would be great to use in the Windmark community, as the pool and some shops and restaurants are close enough by. I also recommend taking a walk around and exploring the different beach walkways.. very charming and lots of wildlife to see. We counted lots of frogs, lizards and a couple friendlysnakes along the way! The home was wonderful and a great layout. The decks and porches were our favorite parts. I would recommend the homeowners add curtains, as the rooms are very bright and warm up quickly with the sunlight, even with blinds. Our biggest concern was that during our stay we had a large bee swarm decide to ‘move in’ between the decks of the house. At one point we saw *hundreds* of needs lining up and filing in to their newly established home. They were very active and busy, and it led us to have to stay away from that entrance of the house and those porches. One of my family members is VERY allergic to honeybees, so it was a very risky issue we were dealing with. We contacted the management company, and they sent a beekeeper out to look at the hive. Then we never heard anything. We contacted the management company *several times* and continued to have responses like “we’re looking into it and will follow up with you soon” and would never have a follow up call. It was unfortunate because it was risky bringing young children (and an elderly person who is deathly allergic) outside near that side of the home at

Great family trip!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was wonderful and had everything we needed for our stay. Our little ones enjoyed the shallow beach water with gentle waves. It was a short walk to the community pool, community center, and the beach. However, with all of our little ones and the heat for the week, we rented a golf cart which was a great decision. Port Saint Joe town center had wonderful little shops and restaurants for a small quiet town. The only downside of the rental is check-in is not until 5 which is a little too late to get unpacked and have dinner with little ones. Our past rental houses have permitted early check-in if the home was ready (our house was ready - we were there at 2 and had to wait) or normal check-in is set for 3 or 4pm - so plan ahead!

Perfect for family getaway

The home was clean with ample room for 7 adults a toddler and an infant. The home was also decorated well that I wasn’t afraid my toddler was going to break something while running around. The neighborhood is adorable. Location is very accessible to beach and restaurants. Would love to stay again.
