Summary:

Weekly rentals Saturday to Saturday June, July & August.

This charming two-story log cabin sits just steps from Lake Huron and offers stunning views of Mackinac Island and Bois Blanc Island. Perfect for a relaxing Up North getaway, Birch Lodge #4 sleeps 4 and is ideal for couples, small families, or friends looking to enjoy the lake, freighters passing by, and the peaceful surroundings. Explore nearby Mackinaw City with its historic Fort Michilimackinac, ferry to Mackinac Island, or venture 7 miles to Cheboygan, the gateway to the Inland Waterway. Bring your bikes for the four-season bike trail, or simply relax on the deck or balcony with breathtaking views.



WE HAVE 2 CABINS HERE FOR RENT!  This cottage is a weekly rental and runs from Saturday to Saturday.  We do require our renters to be at least 25 years of age.  Sorry, no air conditioning, no pets & no smoking/vaping.

- 2 bedrooms (main floor queen, upstairs loft area king)

- Fully equipped kitchen: dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, and silverware

Guest Access:

- Guests have full access to the cabin, deck, balcony, and shared frontage

- Parking limited to one car per cabin



Due to limited parking, only 1 car is allowed per cabin. NO trailers of any kind are allowed on property.

- Short drive to Mackinaw City for shopping, dining, and ferry to Mackinac Island

- Nearby Cheboygan offers waterfront parks, US Coast Guard Cutter Mackinaw, and local shops

- Ideal location for exploring the Inland Waterway or enjoying bike trails

- Car recommended for exploring local towns and attractions

- Ferry or boat recommended for lake adventures

Great cabin and location

We loved the cabin and the location. The cabin and common ground were beautiful. Very quiet and calm. Cabin being 10 minutes from Mackinaw City and Cheboygan gave us great options for entertainment and dining. Would love to stay again.

Beautiful and Relaxing Cabin

We enjoyed this cabin tremendously and the area as well. Loved hearing the waves right outside the window and enjoying coffee on the deck in the mornings. Campfires in the evening was always a wonderful way to end our days. Perfect distance from Mackinaw City for bike riding or Cheboygan for necessities from WalMart, etc.

Mackinac Island Trip

The home was well kept and very clean. They had everything you need for a week at the lake. Home was very clean and well kept. The shared fire pit was awesome, enjoyed watching the July 4th fireworks and meeting the other families that stayed on the property. Would definitely recommend this property if you want to enjoy a quiet lake front setting.

The cabin and property was very nice and clean. Perfect for a weekend get away. We really enjoyed the firepit at night, and since everyone shares it, we made new friends. Due to no air conditioner, it was a little warm. But we managed.

Words alone cannot describe the amazing time we had at Birch Cabin #4. The view was spectacular and the cabin itself had everything imaginable. It was warm and inviting, clean, spacious and just plain wonderful. We all had a great time and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation spot. We will return again.

Perfect anniversary getaway!

My spouse and I really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The cabin itself was gorgeous, super clean, and very tranquil. For a cabin, it was very well appointed with a full kitchen (and everything you’d need to make meals), 2 bathrooms, and a nice basement with washer-dryer. The actual property is right on the beach, and incredibly well-maintained. The cabin is located in a cluster of other similar cabins, and everyone we met over the week was incredibly friendly, and the regulars gave us lots of good tips of what to see in the area. It’s located a bit off the beaten path of Mackinaw City, which makes it a perfect spot for enjoying stars at night as well (we saw a couple of shooting stars while sitting on the balcony)! I can’t say enough good things about the property and the managers, who provided lots of clear info leading up to our trip, and communicated with us a couple of times beforehand to make sure we got all of our questions asked. My spouse and I both agreed that this is very likely one of the best, if not the best, vacation rentals we’ve stayed in!
