Only reason I'm giving four stars is because there's a pet fee that wasn't listed/communicated up front. But that's not a big deal, everything else about this listing is phenomenal! Even had Ale8 waiting for us upon arrival, made my day. Everything's very straightforward and we loved having a king size bed as well as a GREAT yard for our dogs.

The cottage was cozy and clean and cute. We had abundant utensils and pans/dishes and spices, which was appreciated. The hosts were friendly and always quick to respond to requests or questions. The beds were comfy and water was hot for a nice shower. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and fit our needs nicely.

My husband and I were in Lexington to visit our daughter who attends UK. We were traveling with our 2 dogs. We had a great weekend and our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The fenced in back yard made it enjoyable for our dogs too. The location was convenient and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. Everything was just as expected and we will certainly stay there again when we have the opportunity.

We recently stayed at Cecil's Cottage during a visit to Lexington. The location was great and the house is located in a quiet neighborhood. The house is cozy, with a well stocked kitchen with everything you need. Everything was as shown in the pictures. Would stay again!

This home is pet friendly and convenient, but unfortunately it was not clean. There was hair on the bathroom walls, the bathtub didn’t drain properly while showering, and it smelled of cigarettes covered with febreeze.
