We stayed for a weekend in October, and the rental worked out just fine as a "home base" for exploring Lexington and Red River Gorge. We stayed the weekend of Keeneland races and the price was very reasonable. There were several issues with the cleanliness of the property when we arrived (stained sheets and towels, smoky smells in the apartment, etc) but the host (Daniel) was very polite and responsive and offered to try to make it right when the issues were communicated. Another issue was that the couch was broken, so only one of the two seats felt usable to us. We made due because we were hardly in the space except for sleeping overnights, but if you're planning to spend much time in the common spaces it would have been a pain. One thing to note is that this apartment is basically in the middle of UK's "fraternity row". We didn't know the area well enough to spot that when we booked, but if you're staying during the academic year he prepared for some extra noise on the weekends.
