This unit is far from fancy, but it definitely served its purpose. It’s in a very nice quiet neighborhood. We were comfortable, and will probably stay here again in the future.
The location is centrally located - very close to a grocery store and just a short drive downtown. The place could do with a bit of a deeper clean but we didn’t spend much time hanging out so not a huge issue.
This spot serves its purpose.
Close to Downtown Close to Major Highways
Close to several Major retailers.
Older property but well maintain with all you would need to enjoy your stay. Even has a washer dryer
Will return. Thanks for Hosting
Although the bungalow is tired, it met all of the amenities we needed. We used to remodel so we can be picky, but the price was right, the dog yard was perfect, the AC was top notch, Bart was easy and quick to reach and respond.
We will stay again and have friends who plan to contact you as well.It was so quiet in that neighborhood and easy to get the rest we needed. Centrally located for all of our trips out to see friends we were visiting with.
Very dog friendly!!!!
We traveled to Reno for Hot August Nights. We needed a place to stay where we could safely park our classic car.
This place has safe, off-street parking, just feet away from the front door!
The cottage is comfortable and well-stocked.
Thank you!

Optimal for a trip where you don't spend time at the rental.
The rental is sandwiched along with others in a nice neighborhood, but not close to much of relevance. You won't often find yourself walking anywhere close by, this rental works best if you are only sleeping there. Amenities are not such that you are drawn to spending more than the minimal necessary time at it.
Bart was a great host who was very tolerant of our questions and very quick to respond. He even made sure to get the trash out every week! At other rentals that was our responsibility but he took care of us. The place was a little smaller but just what we needed. The location was great for us as it was close to family that we were visiting and also close to hiking trails, great food and shopping. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. We would definitely stay again.
This is a quaint little single level house set behind another residence, which made it somewhat of a challenge to find. The picture provided helped, but I'm glad I arrived while there was still daylight. The interior was very clean and comfortable. As an elderly person, I found the single level living and low step-in shower a boon. Overall I was very happy with the accommodations especially since the living room contains a recliner. My only complaint was that the heater in the living room did not get the room temperature very high (bedroom was good) until I figured out that the fake fireplace also contained a quartz heater. I probably could have contacted the owner and he would have told me about this, but I didn't. As others have stated, parking is a little challenging and I'm glad I wasn't driving anything larger than a medium sized SUV. On the other hand, I was able to park right next to the house, and off the street which made unloading/loading nice, and made me feel more secure. I plan on staying at this location again in the future.
Overall, the property was comfortable. There was an issue with the TV remote but Bart was quick to rectify. I was really only there in the morning and later in the evening so it ended up being a place just for sleeping. The property does need a little love as it’s kind of beat up. I would suggest a floor or table lamp in the living room and maybe a coffee table as well. As someone who used to manage a short term rental property, I may be pickier than most.
Shabby: missing cabinet doors, bathroom sink cabiner is dirty ( you really don’t want your personal stuff in it) drawers stick-loose, front door sticks, baseboards not finished, mis-matched paint, furniture in bad shape, bed not comfy, topper on bed not washed & smelly ( took it off the bed). Practically all lighting inside were all different, missing TV remote, a septic smell comes into window in bathroom when open, no fan in bathroom .. have to open window to de-fog mirror. Only two dining chairs to a larger scuffed up table.
This property perfectly met our needs. It is small and cozy and 5 minutes from almost everything. It is an older house that has been very well used over the years, so it has it's own little quarks. We loved that it was a seperate little space located behind the the house. It gave us privacy and added to the coziness. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house but every night in bed, we heard frogs croaking out our window and would doze off listening to their songs. Bart was an awesome communicator and responded to me within seconds when I had questions. If you are like us and just need a quite place to unwind and sleep each night, this is a good choice.
Property was a little misleading. The backyard is completely fenced in. There are really 3 shared homes on the property. Owner was very responsive and helpful, but place was very small. Bathroom was extremely small. Bedroom was in living room with washer and dryer.
