Great place to gather the family !!We loved it is right next to the shuttle bus to the ski resort, quick ride to and from the slopes, avoid the parking hassle.Everything was clean and the place had plenty of pans and dishes we needed to cook family dinners. Will be there again soon
Highly recommend this home! We had three families on the trip, all ages, and it worked fabulous for all! Loved that it had three floors of bedrooms/baths. Kitchen and gathering areas were wonderful! To get to Winter Park, we only had to walk out the front door and get on the shuttle! So convenient! Mark was fabulous to work with as well! He communicated very quickly with any questions we had.
Nice big place with a mudroom for all the ski stuff, kitchen to accommodate a big group, comfortable living room with nice speaker/TV system and good comfortable beds. Nice for the kids to have their own living room in the basement. Close to grocery and all the amenities in town with a short drive to Winter Park!
The space is excellent in a really ideal location. We had a wonderful stay with 12 adults and 2 kiddos. I really appreciate that all of the rooms have queen beds in them!
House is beautiful and large enough so our family had room to spread out. Back yard was perfect for the kids to have snowball fights, build snow men and forts! Close to supermarket and tubing. Would stay again!
The Check-In was so easy, the house fit our party of 13 perfectly. We enjoyed the entire week hiking, visiting RMNP, playing card games in the eves after delicious homemade dinners, & finished with smores around the fire pit on the back deck. Beds were comfy and we never ran out of hot water once! Mark, our host was amazing and had impeccable communication! We loved our stay!
My husband, 2 teens, mother, sister and I loved this house! It was perfect for our needs and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Great location, lovely views, kitchen stocked with appliances and spices and fun foosball table in game room.
Beautiful house with lots of room for a big family getaway and fantastic views. Mins to winter park skiing and great restaurants. Highly recommended!! Would love to come back in the summer too
Rooms are all great sizes and big living room area with a big TV making things super easy for family with kids. The entry way has a great mud room area which makes it super easy to keep the snow from getting in. We had a great time stay here and would definitely consider staying again.
We had the whole family of eight people including two children. There was plenty of room for everyone. We had some questions at first which were promptly answered by the owner. One of the best places we have stayed in Winter Park.
Spacious and well-furnished. The house was located in a great spot- very easy to get to Winter Park for skiing and close to several nice dining spots. Family remarked several times how nice the house was. We especially enjoyed the living area and fireplace every evening. Would recommend 10/10.
great location, in between Winter Park and Grandby Ranch yet felt like we were in nature. Accommodations were great given the price ( much lower in price than other houses). All nine of us really liked the place including the 5 teenagers with us
This house very comfortably accommodated our family of 11, 6 adults and 5 children. We were so appreciative to be able to get in 2 hours early. The dishes, glasses and silverware were in excellent shape and plenty of all. My only recommendation would be some better pans for cooking. Would definitely choose this house if we are ever in the area.
Great accommodation for a large group with small children. Enough beds for all adults. Place was clean and decorated. Only issue was the door lock but we had a great quick response from the owners to help us. Definitely would come again.
Over all not bad.
The plumbing is really loud.
Nice location.

About the host

We are two families who live in the Denver Metro area. We built the house because we love to get away from the busy Denver area and enjoy the beautiful mountains. We love to ski, hike, mountain bike, play golf and just relax while watching the sun set over the mountains.
Why they chose this property
We chose to build in the Winter Park area because we enjoyed visiting so much as children. We believe it is the last of the true 'Colorado Mountain Resort Towns'. It has just enough amenities to accommodate most interests, while maintaining a mountain town feel. As soon as we reach the top of Berthoud Pass and view the great continental divide and the Fraser Valley below, our stress is lifted. Smell the fresh mountain air, scented with pine trees and you will understand why we enjoy the area so much. We hope you will as well.
What makes this property unique
Our house has the ideal layout for family and friends. It has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with 2 complete family rooms. This allows you to enjoy the company of larger groups without feeling cramped. We love knowing that our kids are having fun in the basement family room playing, watching movies or playing video games, while the adults enjoy time together on the main floor. Mornings are a treat as the sun illuminates the 13,000 ft., snow-capped, Byers Peak framed by the large windows in the back of the house. The vaulted great room is accented by large wood beams and logs, giving you the feel of a true mountain getaway.
