The property is right on the water! My kids could get in easily. The home itself was warm and spacious enough to host many more than the five of us. We’ll be back!

Thanks, look forward to having you up again. We appreciate your kind words.
Wonderful home on a beautiful lake. In all the years staying in vacation rentals, we have never found one so clean. Would definitely return. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Great time!!
Great cabin on Lake Leelanau. We really enjoyed the beautiful setting right on the water. The cabin was spacious and the guest rooms were both very large with two queen beds in each. Plenty of room for the family. We had our dogs with us and it was a nice place to let them hang out. Overall, a wonderful lake experience in northern Michigan.
PROS: Excellent lake location not far from Traverse City. Beautiful sunsets from the comfortable west facing deck. Fully stocked kitchen with all the equipment you’ll need on vacation. Plenty of room to spread out inside the tastefully decorated home. Washer and dryer on-site was a plus. It was easy to connect with the owner for questions or concerns.CONS: The upstairs bathroom needs a grab bar near the elevated footed tub. Getting in and out on the slippery when wet floor was a challenge. The lake facing deck could use an awning or an umbrella for shade. It’s quite exposed. All in all, it was a great place to stay! Centrally located for all activities.
This is just a beautiful property and was absolutely perfect for our family get-together. It’s easy to get to, right on the lake, completely set up with kitchen stuff (including a high-end oven/microwave) and extra linens and games and BBQ and WiFi and fire pit and a smart TV. There wasn’t a thing we needed that we couldn’t find. Lots of places to hang out both indoors and out. Two amazing farm markets a short drive away. We rented kayaks from a place up the lake and they delivered them the next morning. If we’d had bikes we had access to the Leelanau Trail just down the street. Loves loved our week here!
Lovely stay!! Close proximity to Traverse City and wineries. We brought our daughter's dog and found everything to be dog friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Look forward to having you up again.
Cabin is exactly as listed, pictures are accurate. Enjoyed our stay - 7 nights. Quiet neighborhood with quick access to Traverse City, Leeland, Glen Arbor. Short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes Park. More than enough room for 5 adults and 1 toddler, this is a home away from home. Cabin is completely furnished with most everything that you would need. If opportunity arises would book again. Lake Leelanuau is a large beautiful clean lake, Cabin is on South East shore allowing for picturesque sunsets. Communication with host was minimal as Cabin is well taken care of and fully stocked, easy check in / check out, newer deck on lakeside of cabin. Only drawback was the mayflies, this is of course no fault of the host it is Mother Natures, the week we stayed in early June must be prime hatching / breeding for them and there were thousands of them. They do not bite more of a nuisance.

Loved having you up. You guys were great, hope to see you again.
This property was an absolute delight to rent. It was extremely clean and comfortable with excellent amenities. Wonderful view and very accommodating property manager. Will definitely stay there again.
The pictures don' t do it justice - I was pleasantly surprised... and the kitchen had everything you would need. We had 3 grandkids and DIL and her mom and husband - Room for everyone.
Wnjoyed our stay thoroughly.
Love this home. We've stayed there previously. The house is immaculate and always updated. The area is close to TC so area jaunts are a snap. The owner, Patrick, is always gracious and helpful. Thanks, guys, for another great vacation!

Awesome Family Getaway!
Great week of relaxation and family fun. The home was warm, welcoming, abundantly supplied and Pat was a great host. He also came through with a beautiful 8" snowfall which made for great hikes, skiing, family Olympics and winter fun. We would recommend to others and hope to return in the future. D Theis

Thank you Dale for those kind words. You were an excellent renter, I hope to see you again. Pat
We rented the home for a week for a family of five and a small dog. The lake and water are wonderful, the layout of the home was perfect for us with three teenagers. My wife was very impressed by how well the kitchen was stocked. From the spice cabinets to the paper towels, plates, coffee filters, s'mores skewers, extra steak knives, and even a sugar bowl....it's the little things that make a rental so much more comfortable and enjoyable. The kitchen also has a great coffee/beverage station. It was a great week and we hope to make it back.
We visited during the late fall, so the neighborhood was very quiet, just the way we like it! I can’t comment on how it would be in the summer, the house next door seemed very close, if there was a houseful there as well it could seem a bit tight.
The house was very nice, it was just my husband and myself so we never used the upper floor at all. I did go up just to have a look around and everything was very nice there as well. We’d definately return if we’re looking in this area again.
Great lake location about 15 minutes from Traverse City. Easy drive to wineries, cideries, Sleeping Bear Dunes and many other sites. The lake is exceptionally clean and beautiful. The back of the houses faces West so we had amazing sunsets. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed to cook and store food. Sheets and towels were nice and plentiful. The house has AC unlike many other local rentals. The house is exactly as photographed. Ask the property owner for directions as GPS is not quite accurate.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
The property location on the lake is very nice and the owner was accommodating and easy to work with and quick to respond. The size of the home was great for us and we liked being able to have our dog. However, the home was not as clean as we’d like. Very surface level cleaning at best. Amenities were also very limited. This property is surrounded by other family members properties that most are rented out as well. The 4 cabins next door made it challenging for any privacy as they bring in large groups and the properties seem to overlap a bit. The water in front was fairly rocky, but still a decent area to swim and kids to play. Lots to do around the area, just some observations for the next. 7 out of 10 for us.
The property is in excellent condition. This log cabin has many amenities. The owner has thought of every need and want, and stocked the home in a fashion that you could find whatever you need: use it to your pleasure. Upon entry you will find a state of the art washer and dryer with all of the necessary cleaning products. The kitchen is beyond expectation. If you wanted to cook anything, you could find the item needed Each room continues in the same vein. Head outside, comfortable chairs around a fire pit. The beauty of the water and the dock area is shallow enough for children to splash and play. I could go on and on, so you must try it for yourself.
