Great small home

This cozy home was our home base while visiting friends at Kenyon. Our toddler played joyfully with the toys provided and enjoyed the back yard!

Cute and Comfy

Rachel's place is perfect for a visit to Kenyon College. It is a 7 minute drive to campus, and close to the middle of Mt. Vernon. Also, the place was stocked with a variety of snacks, sweetly decorated, warm, and comfortable. All instructions were clear and reasonable. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Convenient and Perfect if visiting Kenyon College

The home was perfect for our visit to Kenyon College for a swim meet. The owner was responsive and left a basket snacks and treats.

Perfect Gem

We've stayed here before and will again! The house is nicely furnished, clean and well equipped. The owner has thought of everything you might need for your stay and more! The location is ideal - quiet street with easy access to downtown Mount Vernon and a short drive to Kenyon and other colleges. I really can't say enough good things about this property.

Fantastic Gem

The property was nicely decorated, thoughtfully equipped and in a perfect location. We are very picky, and this house was immaculate. Our host was accessible, kind and friendly. This was by far the best VRBO experience we've had, and I will try to book this location for any future visits to the area. Five stars. Excellent!

Hi, we are Nate and Rachel and we have been married for 22 years and have 4 children. We have both lived in Mount Vernon since childhood, and we have been blessed to raise our family surrounded by friends and family. For the last 21 years we have owned and still operate a small construction company. Five years ago we started a cafe/coffeeshop with some family members, we have recently sold the business aspect of that to a good friend, and love what it has added to our community. Our love for hospitality lives on, and we are looking forward to sharing with others the charm of Mount Vernon!
