August is a great month to vacation in Cherry Grove! We are the perfect location

Summer 2026 in Cherry Grove looks to be FANTASTIC !!!!!!! Book now to enjoy a view of the Cherry Grove Beach and Marsh from the 3 sun decks of this nicely decorated and well furnished home located on the corner of 48th Ave. N. and Ocean Boulevard just across the street from the ocean! About Twenty Steps and You Are On The Beach !!!

The King Cottage I has 4 very spacious bedrooms that will comfortably sleep 12, 2 full baths, plus an open kitchen and great room that's great for family fun. Directly across Ocean Boulevard at 48th Ave. N. is a public beach access, which allows a spectacular view of the ocean from the open sun decks on the side. This is truly one of the more desirable beach homes in the Cherry Grove area.

The Master Bedroom of the King Cottage I has a very comfortable double-size bed and a twin for the little ones to be near! Bedroom 2 has two doubles. Bedroom 3 has one queen. Bedroom 4 has two double beds. All bedrooms have plenty of room to spare for all your personal items.
There is a washer and dryer to keep your laundry fresh!
We love sitting on the our deck in the afternoons to listen to the sounds of the ocean and watch the people walking and passing by.

There's not a bad room in the house!

This house is spacious, very comfortable, nicely decorated and fully furnished for your family's vacation enjoyment. The King Cottage I features central air and heat, ceiling fans, 2 large sofas and plenty of sitting chairs, phones, Flat panel TV's, a cable-plus lineup of TV channels, fully-furnished kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, mixers, electric can opener, coffeemaker, toaster, cookware and utensils, crock pot, electric stove, washer/dryer, ironing , mirrored vanities, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, ample parking, and an enclosed outside shower (with hot water) and dressing room. Linens (sheets and towels) are included in rental rate.

What a fantastic location for a family vacation! The beach is wide, clean and beautiful! Cherry Grove is the most popular family beach in the Myrtle Beach area. The Grand Strand has numerous entertainment venues for the family and you are minutes away.

Excellent beach house

We had great time at this beach house. Plenty of space and easy access to the beach just across the street. The house has everything you would need including a charcoal grill. I would definitely recommend this beach house.

First family vacation to North Myrtle Beach

We had an awesome time at the beach. The house was nice and cozy and big enough to accommodate all 12 of us. We didn't need much from the hosts but they were quick to answer when needed. A big thank you to the hosts for making it so easy and enjoyable.

This was our second time staying at the King Cottage. We have turned it into a yearly tradition because this house is amazing! It is clean and you can see the beach entrance from the front porch. Very spacious home and it’s a great and safe area. Will definitely return again!

Nice little cottage not far from the beach.

We had 8 adults in this cottage and that would probably be the max I would recommend. Not too far from the beach at all. Towels and linens were provided but maybe hand towels for the bathroom would be nice. Bring your own TP! We would rent this cottage again.

Nice house; clean and simple. We’ve stayed here 2x now and would stay again. You can tell more remodeling has been done. Owner is very responsive. Spent most of our time hanging out under house on porch swing due to rain this year. Easy walk to the beach.

Summer vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at King Cottage. The location was a very short walk to the beach. The beach area in this location was not crowded. The house was very clean, kitchen well stocked if you enjoy cooking. Living room very spacious. The beds were very comfortable. There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on each level. It adequately served our purpose, AC worked well, ice maker was broken even though property manager offered to get ice, we did that ourselves & it was needed. Across the street from the beach, great view from upstairs balcony. Thanks Greg for picking up the new grill

This was a great house, and excellent location. The kitchen had everything we needed. I would recommend updating the shower heads due to no water pressure in either shower. Having a TV in all the bedrooms, especially the master bedroom and also having a dresser in the downstairs bedroom would be helpful. The upper decks need updated, some rails are ready to fall off and the banister in the 2nd floor deck is very loose. There was also a few loose rails on the entry steps. Overall we had a great time!

Great stay!

Cute little beach house with super convenient beach access. You could tell they were trying to keep it updated. Upstairs bathroom was recently refreshed. Upstairs got hot during the daytime but they had installed an additionally ac window unit in one of the rooms. The microwave was old and finnicky but we did not need to use it much.

Host was very accommodating on check in. House is very clean and plenty of space for a family of 6, it could work for up to 9-10 for sure. My only issue was one of the upstairs bedrooms was very uncomfortable temperature wise. The other upstairs bedroom had a portable AC and was perfect, but the fan in the hallway was unable to help much with the warm conditions in the other bedroom. Cherry Point was hot while we were there and we were unable to nap in the room midday because of the heat.

We visited as a large family ranging in age from elderly in their 80's to 3 children six and under. The directions for check-in and check-out were simple and easy to follow. We cooked every meal in the very clean kitchen, walked two minutes to the beach, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The newly refurbished decks were a pleasure in the evenings, and everyone had lots of room. The WIFI was excellent, and easily accessible. There was room to park all four of our vehicles. The outdoor shower and sitting area below the house were clean and pleasant. A very good deal! Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Hi! We are Greg and April King! We live in Loris, SC which is about 20 minutes from Cherry Grove. When we have the opportunity, we LOVE staying at the beach and enjoying all the "tourist" attractions. We have two beautiful kids that love the surf and sand as much as we do!
This rental location has been in our family for many years, and we enjoy sharing it with our friends and family. It's a great place to rest and relax.

Why they chose this property

We have recently updated several aspects of the property. We are continuously updating the house. New paint inside and out and updated furnishings along with updating TV's, Wifi etc. We like to use the property ourselves and we want the amenities that will make the guest feel at home. The property is in a excellent location. With large decks and excellent view all members of your family will enjoy this location.

What makes this property unique

Close by.....putt putt golfing, Cherry Grove Pier, shopping malls, close to down town NMB, golf cart rentals, and lots more! Wonderful walking distance from ocean (directly across the street.)
