We enjoyed the whole week staying in this place! To our surprise, the place was quiet at night, even near the downtown area. The place was well organized and clean. Each bedroom has its own AC. Both the main building entrance and our own door have locks with unique passwords. The hosts were so kind and stayed up late online to help on the day we arrived. They even suggested parking options and nearby restaurants. We tried the Bagles from where they suggested, and they were really good!

The flat was wonderful, on the edge of a great neighborhood, near restaurants, ice cream shops, parks, and Bixi bikes. The host was incredibly communicative and made sure that we had enough sheets and blankets to also use the couch for one of our teens (having housekeeping run them over later into the evening when we discovered they weren't readily available). The beds were comfortable, the host had suggestions for restaurants and activities and as I said, was very responsive. While this doesn't take away from the 5 star experience we had, travelers should know it is up a steep set of exterior steps, and that the futon couch is, in fact, not that comfortable for an older teen or adult to sleep on, but would probably be fine for a young child.

The vendor had a lot of conditions prior to check in and ended up charging us more when I informed them that my two daughters would be staying with us, this was not on the website. There are two parking spots on the property for which they use a separate booking system. The spots were full of garbage and someone had defecated on a pillow in the spot. The railing leading into the entrance had come off of its supports and was loose. When informed, the host did nothing. The rear door to the apartment was loose and there was an 1 cm air gap resulting in a significant draft and cold apartment. When informed the vendor asked for a picture but again did nothing. They rented the rest of the apartments in the building to a large group who partied loudly until 4 am, meaning no sleep for us. It snowed and the plows blocked our cars in meaning we had to dig out as the host did not maintain the property. They advertised a SMART TV but it did not work

Two things make this an ideal place to stay when in Montreal. I stayed for 9 nights and got to know the accommodation quite well. First, it is an ideal location, and even as a 70-year, I could easily walk to Old Montreal, fabulous restaurants, the Metro station, a corner market, coffee shops, parks and shopping on St Catherines Street. Also, as a solo female traveler, I felt very safe here. The neighbourhood was filled with friendly, helpful people. Even though this VRBO was a 2-bedroom and I was alone, I found the price reasonable. Second, the host was wonderful. Majid was in close contact for the first few days and seemed to genuinely care that I was comfortable and had what I needed. He also sent recommendations for nearby restaurants and sites to see. He was very responsive to any questions I had, and this added to my sense of comfort.

Comfortable beds, Great location. Easily Walked every where from the Notre Dame Basilica to the Old Port and to Mount Royal. Host gave very good recommendations for breakfast and beyond.

logement comme décrit, cependant il s'agit d'un immeuble entièrement en bois, où l'on entend tres bien les voisins à côté et au dessus. Pour information, l'accès à l'immeuble est un escalier très raide et étroit.Sinon l'appartement est propre et correct pour le prix, accès par code très facile.
