Lakeside, Ohio is a gated Chautauqua community located on Lake Erie. Chautauqua communities are based on four pillars: religion, education, arts and recreation. Lakeside Ohio offers hundreds of activities to encourage growth in these four pillars. Due to the wonderful activities inside the gates, there is a small gate fee during summer season. A daily pass is around $30 for adults, $17 for youth ages 13-21, and $5 for children ages 5-12. There is also a parking fee that is anywhere from $2 to $13 depending on where you'd like to park.

Lakeside Vacation 2023

We love Lakeside for a family vacation. Rachel was a great host and quick to respond to any questions. We enjoyed having a golf cart and bikes available for use, the sun porch is awesome and a cook out on the back patio set was nice as well! We loved that we could bring our dog as well. The home was well equipped with everything we enjoyed our stay and will come back again!

Comfy stay

We had a great time on our stay. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly want or need on a vacation. We enjoyed using the golf cart to tool around but didn’t have time to try the bikes. We especially enjoyed having the tie out for our dig since he’s used to having a fenced in yard. Rachel was also easy to communicate with and was very responsive.

Charming

The owner has supplied visitor needs and was very responsive ( timely and helpful) with any questions we had. The golf cart was a great addition. It’s an older property but is well maintained . The steps are steep but the bedrooms are large and work well for a family or group.
