Our quaint 4 season home has all the amenities you need for a getaway by Lake Erie. Can potentially sleep 15. 1 spacious master suite with queen size bed and large master bathroom with walk-in shower, 2 upstairs bedrooms each with a queen sized bed, 1 upstairs bedroom with 6 single bunks great for the kiddos, upstairs bonus room with smart TV and futon that can sleep 1 more if necessary, 1 full bathroom upstairs with shower, 1 full bathroom downstairs off the main living space with jacuzzi tub and shower, spacious living and dining area with smart TV and game area, 1st floor sun porch with a private feel and queen size sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen, alcove dining area off kitchen with a Seek-and-find" painted on the surrounding walls, spacious side porch, generous parking that will allow up to 4 cars.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hummingbird Inn! The house was lovely and very clean! So many fun things to do inside the house, from games to the seek and find in the lemon room. The location was just perfect! There were many shops and restaurants close by to choose from. The Put-In-Bay ferry was also close. We highly recommended staying here!

The property was quite charming and spacious. Everything was well stocked (towels, bedding, kitchen, entertainment). Our group was older, so the stairs were a bit of an issue, but other than that everything was nice. Lots of extra touches, and had we had children with us they would have loved it as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Hands down best vacation home

Check in was super easy, we got there and were instantly impressed by the whole house. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed (even a first aid kit when I cut myself!) Every detail of the house was thought out and planned. We have not one complaint!

The Hummingbird Inn is perfect if you are looking for a relaxing family get away or even a long weekend with friends. It has a cozy cottage like (or going to grandmas house) feel. Lots of games to play and/or books to read. Very relaxing atmosphere! It’s close to the lighthouse and we loved going to the beach at East Harbor State Park which is amazing to just sit in and relax especially if you have little ones to watch! 10/10 recommend this home!

The house had plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces, with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. Our oldest granddaughter loved the kids room with 3 bunk beds!

Wonderful Family Girls Weekend

The Hummingbird Nest was the perfect rental for our annual Girls Trip with 3 generations of our family. The house is very clean and well appointed with everything you could possibly need for a home away from home. Plenty of things to do at the house, and it has a great location for all the local sightseeing. Booking, check-in and check-out were very easy, and communication with the owner was great. We had a lot of fun and would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay!

The house was very comfortable. We enjoyed the very clever "seek and find" painted on the walls in the dining area. The house was well supplied with games, kitchen items, towels... We were pleased with all that was provided. The location was great to visit Kelley's Island, Lakeside and the Marblehead lighthouse, just to name a few of the places we visited during the week. And I greatly appreciated how well the host communicated with me to answer questions before we arrived. We had a fun week in Lakeside!!

We are multi-family owners who have all grown up annually visiting the Lakeside Marblehead, Ohio area. It is a very special and nostalgic place for us. We have spent years building this space to be what we enjoy in a weekend or weeklong getaway, and we continue to add the little touches that we think will make it shine. We are thrilled to share it with others who we hope will appreciate the same nuances that we find so comforting and enjoyable.

Why they chose this property

Our family has always loved the Marblehead and Lakeside Chautauqua area and when we found this property we knew it would be perfect for us. Lakeside Chautauqua sits right in our backyard and although we are not inside the gates, we are proud to be able to offer the best of both worlds. You have the ability to spend a day or two in Lakeside and also be able to enjoy the many other activities the area has to offer such as Ferry rides to the islands, the Marblehead Lighthouse, the beach at East Harber, the many local artisan shops and wonderful restaurants to please any palate.

What makes this property unique

We feel the most unique thing about our property is that it is family oriented. We have worked to build a space where you can come and bring your family for that much needed rejuvenation of just enjoying being together. We are also centrally located to the many activities the area has to offer.
