Luxury Loft Historic Center Oak Bluffs

This is a wonderfully designed contemporary loft space that is both chic and comfortable. The couches and chairs are down-filled and the kitchen and living area is spacious and convivial. This is a great rental for large families, and couples and groups of friends on vacation.

The location is just perfect! You are within steps of everything! Shops, galleries, restaurants, cinema, golf and tennis both public courts and farm neck around the corner, harbor, grocery stores, liquor store, clubs, tabernacle, union chapel, ocean park, public basketball court , walking trails, bike bath along ocean from OB to Edgartown, rentals for bikes, etc....right in town. As well you can take the ferry right to Oak Bluffs and leave your car on the other side. You can walk to this rental from the ferry or take a very short taxi ride if you packed a pair of shoes for every outfit! I'm an ex New Yorker and I love it here! I love Oak Bluffs and I love this space. It feels like Tribeca but is 2 blocks to beautiful clean ocean at inkwell beach.....!

Stripping beds that were used of bedding/sheets, and leaving them on the same bed for cleaners to get is also a big help.
Please leave keys/information sheet where you found them.

Amazing place in oak bluffs!

We had an amazing time. Kim is fabulous. The loft is beautiful and perfect for the three families. Plenty of room! The kitchen was amazing, outdoor space and a 5 minute walk to down town oak bluffs. I've stayed at a number of places on Martha's Vineyard and this by far is the best! Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!

Spacious funky loft with lots of room to be together. We were two middle-aged couples and four adult kids, and the space worked well with no kid having to share a bed. If we had younger/smaller children, or another couple we could easily have fit more. We loved the deck and yard and outdoor shower, the big bright kitchen and location so close to town. A very welcoming home with lots of personality!

An excellent getaway in Oak Bluffs, MA

We loved the place. This was the first time we stayed here, although not our first time at the island. We loved the comfortable and spacious place for our large group. Everything was neat and well kept. Plenty of towels were provided, including beach towels. The owner was easily reachable on text and promptly answered any questions we had. We will surely look to come back again in the future.

This is a great place for a big group to stay. It is close to the beach and town, quiet, comfortable, and the property manager is very easy to communicate with and is very helpful. To clarify- one of the many bedrooms only has a bed with a curtain as a door, no floor space for bags/getting changed, and one of the bedrooms is a loft with several mattresses with a very low ceiling that an adult cannot sit up in. That said, we did not need to use the loft and we were very comfortable. The outdoor space is shaded and peaceful and perfect for group meals.

Magical vacation!

The entire experience was wonderful; the amenities in the yard, the size of the space comfortably fit our entire family with room to spare. Location could not have been better & everything was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. We loved the outdoor shower & the outside space was perfect for lounging. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Vineyard location

This is a gigantic space with plenty of room for big groups to gather and hang out. Great deck with lots of seating and an outdoor shower. Location is close to the beach, shops, restaurants and ferry, no car needed! It was perfect for our girls’ getaway.

Fantastic Martha’s Vineyard getaway.

We were a group of ten Canadians attending Beachroad Festival. Kim’s place was fantastic. Lots of space for sleeping and hanging out including outdoor deck and an outdoor shower! Incredible value for money. Thank you Kim!!

Absolutely spacious. Wonderful kitchen and appliances. Great gathering areas for our party of 8. Awesome outdoor shower. Only confusion we had was check in process & check out time. But that was easily sorted out!

Perfect for large groups

We loved our stay. The pictures haven’t been updated online and the place is much nicer! The living space is huge and comfortable. The deck is perfect for gathering the whole group outside. The location is amazing. Easy walk to beaches and town and bus stop. You do not need a car here! I’d stay here again and definitely recommend it to groups of friends or multiple families vacationing together. We had 12 people and could have comfortably had a few more!

Vineyard Wedding

Family came from Europe for a big wedding. Needed a large enough spot for couples and singles. This house worked out really well. Huge kitchen and family room area. Large deck outside and a great common space downstairs for grilling and hanging out. Ideal location too. Walk to the beach and shops and restaurants. Good parking right outside. The only minor thing was the loft area is a bit tight and the AC could be stronger. Other than that it was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend this spot if you have a big family or group of friends traveling.

Excellent property with plenty of room for our group of 12. Walking disntance to everything . The only negative was the stairs. We must have missed it in the description. We had elderly with us which made it difficult for her. Also the back bedrooms and bathrooms were a bit musty. I have a feeling thats a common problem on the island but it was out first trip so had nothing to compare it to. Well worth the money for what we got though

Amazing Location, Some Issues

We had a lovely stay at this property and would recommend with a few reservations...the location cannot be beat, especially for families with small kids. Walking distance to Inkwell Beach, downtown Oak Bluffs and a wonderful park/playground that you don't even need to cross a street to get to. We loved the open floor plan, the private deck and common area outdoor space. That said, this property is in an old building and the unit has some issues. One of the skylights leaks during heavy rain; one of the in-wall rooms ACs was leaking/spitting water onto one of the beds; and while the kitchen is well stocked, it's in some disarray. Lastly, no paper towels, toilet paper or shower amenities are provided. While these are all manageable issues that were not a dealbreaker for us, when you pay over $8k for the week, a higher standard is expected and should really be met.

Lovely location and place!

We stayed here with my siblings & their partners and kids and my parents as an anniversary gift/trip for them. Overall, it was great. Ahead of the stay, sometimes communicating with Kim was harder, but she was super responsive throughout the week, and when flights got changed on both ends of the trip for some in our party, allowed for luggage to be kept on the property before/after check-in, which was invaluable. The place had tons towels, sheets, plates, bowls, etc., and the beach chairs and umbrellas were super helpful. The location is awesome: minutes to circuit ave., seconds to the park (perfect for the kids!) and about a 10 min walk to the beach. I’d say the biggest challenge was in the listing of 6 bedrooms (5b + loft): there’s really 3 bedrooms that are self-contained (the loft is part of a bedroom; the other doesn’t have a wall that goes up to the ceiling; the other is in a hallway that leads to a bathroom that has a door. I’m only noting this as we had babies, all on different nap schedules (of course!), so the rooms were a bit harder than anticipated. But Kim was great and even understanding when one of the said kids broke a plate. The spacious yard was also perfect for kids. And the adults loved the outdoor shower! What a treat!

Spacious place close to everything

10 of us rented this property for a bachelorette weekend in oaks bluff. There was plenty of room for all of us to sleep and hang out. It is a quick walk to circuit ave with all the shops and restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the beach. We also hired a private chef while we were there and there was a nice stove and all kinds of cookware for him to use. The back deck was a great place for us all to hang out but from the listing we thought there would be a nicer yard space and a shared space. Overall I would rent this place again if I had a large group going to oak bluffs.

Great place

Beautiful place to stay with a large group. The kitchen/living area is huge and was perfect for our group. We had 12 people eating breakfast around the kitchen island! The deck and outdoor shower were epic. All the rooms had their own AC units so we slept well and comfortably. Beautiful artwork everywhere!! I was a little nervous at check in as there wasn’t any communication beforehand but Kim met us outside when we arrived and all was well.

Unbelievable Weekend

Spent Thursday to Sunday at this property to celebrate my brothers engagement. So much space and fun places to hang out. The spot has been updated and such a cool outdoor hang out space. Outdoor ping pong table and a grill to use. Would recommend to anyone with a larger group trying to have a blast on the island.

The property was as described and well stocked. We arrived somewhat nervous as we had not received any check-in confirmation from the owner, apparently losing her phone prevented her from reaching out. There was laundry in the washer and dryer and the apartment had not been aired out (a strong pet smell). You should know that this property is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues— access is up a flight of stairs and it was difficult to get in and out of one of the tubs. Still, the location is great and we loved Oak Bluffs!

Awesome space

We came for the weekend (group of girls in our 30s). The location was walkable to downtown/ferry. The space itself is awesome! There is plenty of beds and places to sleep and the living and dining area is open. I would highly recommend for a large group. We would love to come back!

My Husband’s 50th Bday

My family and I rented this property to celebrate my husband‘s 50th birthday. The only complaints that I have, which are minor, is that our check-in was a little delayed because they were finishing the cleaning of the property and the communication could have been better. There were 13 of us in the house. We all had our own place to sleep and didn’t feel cramped at all. I loved the separate sitting areas. The kitchen was amazing. The outdoor area worked out great for us entertaining. My mother-in-law I loved the fireplace. We will definitely go back again.

i bought this property in 1999 and renovated it top to bottom....it was a lumberyard warehouse and it inspired the New Yorker in me. i now have my New York fantasy loft but even better it is in Oak Bluffs! and steps to clean beaches and ocean. This town gives me all of the cool stimulation i need being an exurbanite plus i have a child and i can't imagine a more quintessential place to raise a child. We are very happy!

Why they chose this property

I bought this property because it was unconventional in the way most of the Victorian properties are in town. I wanted to be in Oak Bluffs and lead a small town lifestyle meaning i can walk to everything, wave to my friends, the school is nearby, and i feel safe, healthy, and stimulated but relaxed.

What makes this property unique

I just love this town. It's full of interesting people.....i love seeing the ocean every time i run an errand...my home is spacious and comfortable.....my friends love to come over....my son doesn't ever want to leave.....when i go off island i just want to get right back home.......my home has a very inviting feel and makes you feel like just kicking up your feet. It feels very private but everything is at my fingertips and Especially the beauty and vibrancy of Oak Bluffs.
