About this property

Lakehouse in the Adirondacks, great for families!

Enjoy our family's lakehouse on beautiful Hadlock Pond. Our 3-bedroom home is great for groups or families. Northern Living New York called Lake Hadlock “The Hidden Lake That's Better Than Lake George”.

The area is great any time of year with lots of summertime activities. We are 12 minutes from the Lake George Outlets, 15 minutes from Six Flags Great Escape, and 35 minutes from Saratoga Race Track. For skiing, it’s 25 minutes from West Mountain, 45 minutes from Gore Mountain, and about an hour from Killington.

The house has private lake access directly across the street with a gradual entry beach area and a dock. We have a large yard, fire pit, and great deck overlooking the lake. The main floor has an open kitchen and living room layout which is great for family or friends to spend time together. Lake Hadlock is a Class-AA lake so the water is incredibly clean and suitable for drinking, swimming, and fishing. We also have 2 kayaks for guest use. No pets please. We provide linens and bath towels but please bring your own lake towels and do not use the bath towels at the lake. We do not have central AC but we have a window until in one bedroom and the main living area.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

This is a very nice property with a very clean lake. A fairly quiet private location that is great for families. We had a lovely time enjoying the lake and investigating the surrounding area. A great place away from the hustle and bustle.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Lakehouse! So comfortable! So clean! Close to every place we wanted to visit! Hadlock Pond was the favorite of our grandsons. The use of the kayaks was a plus! The area is beautiful and quiet.

Great place with lots of nearby attractions

This was a great house to stay at. It's clean, roomy, and has all the comforts of home with the added benefit of easy lake access for swimming, kayaking, and boating. The house is a short drive away from multiple attractions. Lake George, Glens Falls, and Queensbury are all nearby, and we were able to do activities in all three with nothing more than a 20 minute drive one way. We definitely recommend it!

My husband and I enjoyed our week on the lake. Although the weather was very humid, it was refreshing swimming in the lake and the large deck on the front of the house was a great place to have snacks and a cookout with a few family and friends.

Relaxing Stay

Property was nicer than pictured and exactly as described. The neighborhood has a very relaxing and quiet atmosphere. My kids enjoyed swimming and splashing in the water, and my husband enjoyed sitting on the swing near the water to read. We utilized the deck a lot at night after putting our kids to bed. We will definitely rent this place again if/when we come back to the area.

Lovely lake vacation

Clean, comfortable, home on a lovely, quiet lake. Katie and Carlos were excellent, responsive hosts. Our grandchildren visited and had a wonderful day swimming and playing in the lake. This location is ideal if you want to be away from the traffic and congestion, but close enough to Lake George and other attractions to keep you entertained. We would definitely come back!

Very great vacancy

Everything was perfect, when we arrived, everything was clean. We love that we had more than enough place for 7 persons. The cabinets had stickers to identify what was in it, it was very helpfull. We also love having access to the lake and the kayak. We have a very beautiful vacancy, we will look foward to come back again.

We are a family with three children under 6 who love to swim, kayak, hike, and enjoy the many area activities like mini-golf, the indoor water park, roller skating, and playgrounds. We recently purchased this house and are excited to make memories with our children. Sharing it with you allows us to do that!

What makes this property unique

Hadlock Pond is quiet, peaceful but also surrounded y great kids activities. Motorboats are permitted on the lake but there is no public launch so it really never gets too busy. Behind the house is wooded so you will feel secluded while being close to many things.
