Mid-century gem nestled in the magical Driftwood neighborhood, surrounded by charming cottages and towering live oaks, only 2 miles from St. Pete's vibrant downtown. A wooden walkway through a giant bamboo grove takes you to your own private beach on Big Bayou, for wildlife viewing, kayaking, and more.

A true jungle oasis, this comfortable 1950's home has 3 bedrooms to accommodate a warm weather family getaway. The upstairs master suite, with recently updated bathroom, has its own balcony overlooking the backyard and ocean. Two additional bedrooms with queen beds, one upstairs one down with adjoining bath. An additional upstairs room serves a a quiet office for those who need to stay in touch with work, or could be used for an infant with a portable crib. There are 3 full baths, 2 upstairs and one downstairs.

A large eat-in kitchen, formal dining room, living room, huge screened-in-porch, and back deck with outdoor kitchen provide plenty of room for relaxing or entertaining.

Discounts offered for monthly or seasonal rentals.

Two cars can be accommodated in the carport, and there is an outside area for bike storage. Pickle ball racquets provided.

No smoking or pets please. Respect for neighbors essential. This is not a party house. Quiet hours 10pm-9am per city regs.

Lovely beachfront home

First - location. It's easy to get to downtown St Pete (<10 min) as well different beaches (15-30 min, depending on beach - we went to multiple ones). But there's no need to drive - it's on a private beach already, so we would get up early for sunrises or sunsets, sitting on the beach chairs and relaxing. St Pete has great restaurant and bar options, so being convenient to all these options is great.
