If the weather hadn't been mediocre, this would be a great place to stay. Plenty of space. Dock was sturdy. View was fantastic. It is a little old, with some updates. Great value for the price.
My family had a fantastic time during our stay at the property. We loved sitting outside at the picnic table, lounging on the floating dock, and exploring the lake in the kayaks.

Dirty, unmaintained, rundown property
This is by far the dirtiest, unmaintained, VRBO property I've stayed at in the last 10 years. I thought VRBO had standards on the properties they list. If they do, this one slipped thru the cracks. I'm so glad the wives did not come on this trip.

Fish camp not Lake house
Let’s be clear, this is a fishing camp. If you have children who want to play on the floor or couch, this isn’t for you. The photos were, to us, misleading. The couch and carpet are dirty. The house smelled of various types of smoke. No towels in the downstairs bathroom. Rat poison on a shelf behind curtains. The windows and door had dirt and cobwebs in and on them. We left within an hour and paid for a hotel. We tent camp so we aren’t opposed to roughing it but we rented a house on a lake and we expected it to be as pictured.
The host was very accommodating and even let us switch our dates last minute due to a death in the family. We appreciated that so much! The sunsets on the lake were absolutely beautiful! The area is nice and there’s not a lot of traffic since it is on a dead end road. My family said they’d definitely stay here again!!
Solid choice for a cool, calm getaway. A few aspects of the house aren't as cosmetically pleasing as expected, but nothing that affected the quality of the trip. Far enough out to not feel crowded, but still had access for delivery. Would rent again
It was 5 adults (one female) and it was a perfect fit, comfortably. This property is described perfectly online and the photos give a true representation of the property. If you’re looking for a 5 star elite property, this is not for you. It’s clean, practical and since it doesn’t have fancy furniture/flooring. It did the job perfectly for our group. We spent time fishing at the dock at the house and also drove to other spots. It’s only 20 minutes from Bolle’s Harbor and about 25 from Luna Pier (great fishing). We drove an hour to Lake St Clair. For the affordable price, if you’re looking for a place to lay your head and enjoy the quiet peaceful ambiance of the water; it’s right up your alley! There were no bugs, no problems and everything inside the house is clean. Owner has lots of kayaks for you to use along with seats and paddles in the garage. We would come back! Very nice owner that was always quick to respond.

Dirty
Stayed here to fish Detroit River and Erie and the only positives were easy check in and a dock for our boat. The kitchen was disgusting it had dirty dishes and pans put back in the cabinets. Dirty dishes left in the dishwasher. Old food in cabinets. Ants all over the kitchen and roaches in the drawers and cabinet. Shower door was broken. I did send a message to host expressing my concerns but heard nothing. The parking with trailer was horrible the only way to turn around was to go on the neighbors yard. I have stayed at a lot of places fishing all over and this was one of the worst.
Perfect set up for men fishing for a week.
As stated earlier, be cautions while trailering a boat as the road is tight and twisty, any boat over 20' might have to rethink the location. The turnaround driveway could use some gravel. Overall, a good place for men to hang their hats for a night or more.
It was nice having a dock to leave my boat in the water. Kitchen could use a few more eating utinsels and a couple of larger frying pans. But other than that the worked well.
