Very nice neighborhood

The property was sparkling clean and comfortable. We had no issues requiring the hosts help. But we did happen to meet them both and they were lovely.

Fantastic location

Pros: great location (short walking distance to national mall, restaurants and Whole Foods), very communicative and responsive owner; very clean; great for our 2 night stay; bed mattress was good condition; owner gave recommendations of places nearby to eat Cons: little pricey when all fees factored in; kitchen has requisite items, but cooking a real meal might be a challenge; garbage disposal wasn’t working

A pleasant day

A personal opinion, but rooms did not seem as large as they appeared in the pictures. This property is best suited for one or two people. Once we were given our entry code at 4 PM on the day of arrival access through two doors with digital locks were very easy. A nice entryway on ground level. Very clean inside. not a problem, but be aware that the owners of the property live above you on the second floor. There are no laundry facilities on the property, but there is a laundromat and dry cleaners several blocks away. There is also a convenience store within a few blocks and a large Safeway grocery store about a five minute drive away. Many landmarks were within a 15 to 20 minute walk. Most Uber rides in the immediate area depending on the time of day would cost you between $15 and $40. The property. is located in a very quiet neighborhood. One note of interest, if you have any kind of physical issues, the bed is on a frame, but very low to the ground. I would recommend.

The Capitol Hill apartment was the perfect respite for our 4th of July trip to DC. The unit was just as described…quiet, peaceful and wonderfully cool. We had everything that we needed within walking distance. I highly recommend the Berlin Cafe for great German cuisine. It was a short walk to the Capitol grounds and surrounding museums. I highly recommend this apartment for your next couple’s trip to DC.
