This is a retaliatory review. As a first-time guest using VRBO, Sarah clearly did not know she must be responsible for breaking other people’s homes. In our hosting over the past three years, we never had to experience such a heartbroken scene: we found Sarah and her large group of guests had a pool party at our house. What they left to our house include: (1) a broken dining chair, shattered into pieces, not fixable so we had to recycle the pieces, (2) a broken metal patio chair (we wonder how much fun a guest had to have to break a metal patio chair..), not fixable neither, (3) a pool with three empty cans of beers floating on the pool. It looked like someone had dump beers into the pool and changed the chemicals. During Sarah’s stay, she kept complaining about the pool but did not dare to send us any pictures of what she did to our pool. Only upon we checked on the house we had to rush calling a professional pool technician, who found our pump valve was moved by Sarah’s guests. The pool technician shocked the pool to make the pool clean again. Despite the pool drama caused by Sarah’s pool party, we only charged Sarah the cost of two chairs (the dinning chair and the patio chair) because we had to replace them immediately for next group of guests to use, and it was important to find the matching chairs during such a short time so we had to find the most closest ones. Such a heartbreaking hosting experience! And we did not know where our kitchen flies came from in Sarah’s review: during interactions with Sarah, she did NOT mention anything about the kitchen and now a case was made up that we had a dirty kitchen with flies. We wish we could share the screenshots of her conversations and the damaging scene at our house. We could not accept such guest behavior in our house, and we could not host Sarah again and do not recommend her to any VRBO hosts based on our disaster experience.
