Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay! Everything was comfortable! Plus the 24+ inches of snow the week we were there was a joy to see considering we rarely ever get snow (mainly ice) in our area! The only suggestion we would have is to please make a snow shovel available in the unit!
Response from VrboOwner on 22 Feb 2026
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled you had a great stay and found everything comfortable. And what a treat to experience 24+ inches of fresh snow — especially coming from an area where you mostly get ice! It truly makes for a magical week. ❄️ We really appreciate your suggestion about providing a snow shovel. That’s very helpful feedback, and we’ll make sure to add one to the unit so future guests are well prepared after those big snowfalls. Thank you again for staying with us — we’d love to host you for another snowy getaway anytime!

Very impressive & accommodating!

This was a great location for our annual family vacation! The unit was clean, spacious and just like the online pictures. Loved the decor! The location was a short drive north of town. Close enough to get to hikes and shops and our favorite spot to eat - James Ranch!

A nice place

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was beautiful inside and out. The views were amazing. However, it lacked in details. Sheets were stained, towels didn't appear clean, cobwebs in corners, upstairs really hot, ran out of coffee, etc.

Thank you for leaving us a review. We are sorry to hear about the cleaning issues. We are sorry to hear that the sheets were stained, the towels did not appear cleaned, along with the cobwebs in the corners. If you would have notified us of these issues during your stay, we would have happily corrected them for you. We are also sorry to hear that the upstairs was hot. We certainly would have provided you with additional fans if you needed them. As for the coffee supplies, we are not like a hotel and are rather a vacation rental so we only supply our guests with a start up supply of coffee, and we leave it up to our guests to provide the supplies for the remainder of there stay.

Great, quiet winter spot

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great overall experience. Prime location 15 minutes from Durango and 15 minutes from Purgatory. We had a small plumbing issue but maintenance addressed it quickly and company kept us informed via text and email. Place was plenty spacious for the four of us. Would have been tight in the community spaces if there were more. The only issue we had was with hot water one evening. I think the unit shares a hot water heater with other units, as we hadn’t used any and it only lasted about 5-minutes.
Response from VrboOwner on 21 Mar 2025
Thank you for your thoughtful review! We're glad to hear that you had a great experience and found the location convenient for both Durango and Purgatory. We’re also happy that the plumbing issue was addressed quickly and that you were kept informed. We appreciate the feedback about the hot water and we have looked into this to ensure it doesn’t cause any inconvenience in the future. We’d love to host you again and hope to make your next stay even better!

Great Place - no complaints

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely the nicest Tamarron/.Glacier Club unit we've stayed in to date. Everything was clean, well maintained and comfortable. It was perfect for my wife and I and two of our grown children who took a few days away from their families to ski with their dad. A yearly tradition. We love Durango and Purgatory and the location of Tamarron makes both convenient. this unit was perfect because the young people had the upper level and we had the bedroom and bath on the main level. The owners have thoughtfully provided all of the needed kitchen cookware and utensils for preparing meals. It was a pleasant surprise to find a few basic spices and essentials so we did not have to purchase common things like salt and pepper. We will likely return again next year and once we determine our dates we will hopefully be able to book 739 for next time. We would love to stay here again.

Trip to Durango

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 739 at Tamarron was a real pleasure. Our family of 5 was very comfortable for the week of our stay. The unit is well-equipped in the kitchen and bathrooms, and the deck overlooking the golf course was a favorite spot to relax after a day of exploring. We were pleased with the cleanliness and the quiet. We took full advantage of the recreational facilities at the lodge...indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, and well-equipped fitness wife even took a "Yoga class on the lawn" one morning. The location is outside Durango (north on 550, about 15 miles), so we made sure to plan our visits to town for dinner, shopping, etc. The location also had the upside of being closer to Silverton and Molas Lake, so our outings to those locations was more convenient than if we had stayed in town. The one slightly misleading description is the washer and dryer....these are not part of the unit (which I had assumed from the description), but instead are across the parking lot, and with a fee of $2 per load. Not a big deal, but less convenient than some VRBO's with self-contained (and free) washer/dryer. Overall, a very positive experience

Thank you so much for sharing your delightful experience at Tamarron- we're thrilled! We appreciate your note about the location—it sounds like you struck a great balance between enjoying Durango and exploring Silverton and Molas Lake. Thank you for pointing out the detail about the washer and dryer; we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and will make sure this information is clearer in the future. Overall, we're so pleased you had a positive experience, and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon! -Mackey

Amazing View

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great view from the balcony. Great amenities, my son used the gym every day, and the restaurant located at the resort was pretty good. The only thing we did not use was the swimming pool. The condo was very nice, there were four of us and it gave us enough space to have our own area and decompress. We spent most of our time outside on the balcony taking advantage of the nice weather. Great location roughly 25 minutes from Durango. We highly recommend this location for anyone.
Response from VrboOwner on 4 Aug 2026
Thank you for such a thorough review — it sounds like you really made the most of the property! We're so glad the balcony views and weather cooperated for you, that your son got good use out of the gym, and that the on-site restaurant hit the spot. Good to know the space worked well for four of you to spread out and recharge, too. So glad the balcony won out! We'll pass the kind words along to the team, and we'd love to host you again next time you're in the Durango area :) -Erika
