Jane is a wonderful host. Great communication ahead of visit in addition to the Info Folder for reference. Easy to operate TV, comfy large beds and well equipped with all the amenities you wouldn’t think you might need until you do.
The location was great! The house was lovely and the hosts really pay attention to detail! We would love to stay there again next time we are in Bloomington.
The Bread and Butter is an inviting National Park themed home that offers great value, very attentive and welcoming hosts, an excellent location, ample parking, and amenities including a fenced yard. This home is family friendly and was able to accommodate rotating family visitors and our small dog. Situated in a quiet and friendly residential neighborhood a short walk to Bryan Park, and close to both IU and downtown Bloomington.
We were greeted with a basket of snacks, a loaf of bread from a local bakery and a stick of butter! That delicious bread was our breakfast nearly every day! Having coffee provided so I didn’t have to purchase a huge can was awesome too! Highly recommend this place!
Great stay, convenient location. The host’s go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and have not looked over any details. We definitely recommend and will be back!
We loved staying in Bread & Butter. Jane was a great communicator, and the house is so cute and very clean. The location was perfect and very easy to reach campus. We would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our 2-night stay in the Bread and Butter home. The location was perfect and we loved that they allowed dogs! The back yard is fenced so it was perfect!

Hello,
Thanks for the great review! We hope all went well with the performance and you had a nice visit. We also hope Oliver enjoyed his Bark Box toy that we've been saving for him. Sorry, we didn't get the lawn mowed prior to your arrival. We are looking forward to hosting you in November!

The house was perfect for our weekend trip to visit our kids at IU. The owners thought of every detail, and there wasn’t a thing overlooked to make our stay comfortable. We will be back!
House is cute, clean, coffee and beverages provided in the fridge (nice touch) close to campus (about .75 miles), and in a nice neighborhood. The hosts are wonderful and left us home made bread and butter that was delicious! I'd highly recommend this property.
Jane thought of everything and responded almost instantly to any questions we had. We only had one car but there was tons of off-street parking which isn't always the case. Could easily walk to campus and very central for everything else. Would certainly stay here again.
Bread and Butter was just perfect for Mom's Weekend at IU and also to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Being away from kiddos is hard enough, but this home was perfect for making our visit feel like home. The hosts were great, leaving us special treats, and the home had everything we needed. The location was perfect, the backyard was spacious, beds comfy, and had all the amenities. Can't wait to visit again!
Everything you want in a rental property. Very clean, lots of towels, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. Rent this house you won’t be disappointed.
We had a fabulous time. Everything you need is there including a lot of extra amenities. Walking distance to town and campus. We will definitely be back!
This was a very well-run vrbo. It was super clean, everything worked, the beds were comfortabe and it was well-stocked with all supplies that would be needed. Great experience.

Hello, We have been married forty-four years and we have raised four children, including one set of identical twin boys, another son and a daughter. We also have one grandson. Indiana University brought us to Bloomington in 1980 and we fell in love with the town and surrounding wilderness and just couldn't leave. We love hiking, camping, boating and music. Also, raising three cyclists, we fell in love with biking and our Airbnb reflects our interests of many of our adventures of National Parks, other vacations and the community of Bloomington. We are both teachers, Physical Education, Special Education and Auto Technology.
