Thank you Claire! It was wonderful having you! Hope to see you back on Cape :)
The cottage exceeded our expectations ( which we booked in May). It was cozy, comfortable and had all the amenities we could have asked for. I even loved the chipmunk who visited the deck each morning to say hello.
If you're looking for a peaceful oasis on the Cape, look no further. We enjoyed our time at Cottage Grove. Mary, the property manager, was helpful and made us fell so welcome. The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. We loved sitting outside on the spacious deck with our morning coffee. You'll love it, too!

Thank you Kimberly! We are thrilled you found the cottage comfortable, centrally located and Eastham equally charming! We look forward to welcoming you back any time! Thank you for being so awesome!
The cottage had all we needed to cook, relax and enjoy the Cape. Ptown was close enough to visit as well as the surrounding beaches. Wellfleet Bay was a surprise find for a nice walk near the water ($8 adult towards MA Wildlife). Mary was very nice and attentive upon arrival.

We loved having you all!! The pups are awesome! Thank you for being so super. Hurry back!
The cottage was rustic, well stocked with utensils, dishes, glasses, appliances. Felt a lot like camping in a cabin. Not enough lighting for our taste. And felt very damp perhaps just the location to oceanside. Would have liked more cozy feel. Bed was comfortable, liked kitchen table and chairs. Couch also comfortable. Great location.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location
Very cozy and rustic little bungalow cottage.
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and greatly appreciate Mary's welcome! There was plenty of room for the two of us and we a well stocked cottage for the a few days on the Cape. The location is convenient but the cottage is right on Hwy 6 so the road is busy. There is a cluster or cottages around the grassy yard so there are other people in close proximity but it was a friendly and calm atmosphere.

Thank you Chrissy! It was wonderful having you stay at our cottage. You all were such lovely guests!
We loved this property. It met our needs perfectly. I was in town for a seminar in Orleans, and my husband and pup were with me to enjoy everything that Cape Cod offers. This property was located right off of US 6, which made it easily accessible for all of our adventures. We were never too far from "home". We made it to Provincetown, Chatham, Brewster, Orleans, and more. We were able to enjoy wonderful restaurants, beaches, trails, and more.
We were also VERY well taken care of by the property manager, and the owners checked in with us a couple of times to make sure we were good. The property itself had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

Thank you Elise!! It was so wonderful having you, Sean and your pup, Hunter stay at our cottage! We are over the moon happy that you throughly experienced and enjoyed everything!! And that you felt very well taken care of makes us super happy too! Please hurry back!!
The property is very serene despite the heavy traffic out the door (that you do not hear when in the cottage). Be careful pulling out! The cottage is very cozy, the bed was comfy, the TV area comfy, just some things to make the stay nicer would be a frying pan, steak knives, new mirror in bathroom and shelf in bathroom for toiletries. Some updates to chairs in sitting area. Or just remove them, take up too much room. Maybe have more drawers to put clothes in so that luggage isn't sitting out. We really enjoyed our stay. Mary was a delight and so helpful and the owners very responsive to all my email questions. Definitely located in a great spot. We went all over the cape and was close to trails and National Seashore and stores and eateries. We had a wonderful time and relaxed; which we came for. Thank you so much.

Thank you Mary! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay! We are also happy we could accommodate your early check in. We enjoyed having you at the cottage and would welcome you back any time! Sorry you had trouble finding the frying pan and the steak knives. We are thrilled you had a chance to travel all over the Cape and found our cottage in a GREAT SPOT close to trails and the amazing National Seashore. Best of all you had time to relax and enjoy the magic of it all!
Fantastic stay, immaculate property, great communication, and amazing location
This property is in Cottage Grove, a group of cute cottages off Rt. 6. You won't be bothered at all by any noise from the road, as the grove is extremely well sheltered by trees.
The cottage, owned by Paul and Michele and managed by Mary, is extremely cute, comfortable, and was immaculately clean.
There were plenty of unexpected amenities such as some first aid items, olive oil, and a Keurig coffee machine.
There is a large porch, and some large windows looking out from the bedroom on the yard, which is embellished by flowers and other nice touches.
The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept very soundly.
Paul, Michele, and Mary worked to get us in the unit early, which greatly enhanced the vacation. The courtesy and extra effort spoke volumes.
Communication with the owners was fluid, timely, and courteous.
And of course, the best thing of all is the location -- Eastham, MA, just minutes by car to multiple ocean-side and bay-side beaches. This area is remarkable.
Of note, my wife and I have stayed at other properties in Eastman, and this was the best in terms of the overall package. The interior of the unit was markedly more pleasant than any of the others, as well as the human touch.
It's clear that Mary, the property manager, takes immense pride in her work.
Thanks to Mary, Paul, and Michele for a great trip.

Thank you Alex for this beautiful review. It makes our hearts sing. We love hosting our place and are thrilled you had a wonderful time not only on Cape but at our cottage. We are so happy you rested well in and had everything you needed. Mary goes above and beyond in everything she does and thank you for all the shout outs in particular that one. Hurry back!
We connect to nature. Hiking, biking, skiing, surfing or just relaxing and taking in the wonder of it. We enjoy books and films. And all of us love to travel and experience new places and meet people who have stories to tell. Paul and I and our son, Kenneth live in Los Angeles and work in film. We value the craft of what we do and the storyteller.
Why they chose this property
This cottage is stunning. Dramatic, beautiful and situated in nature. We love the trees and the ample size of the vintage cottage. It was originally a two bedroom and then it was converted to a vaulted large studio loft space. At nearly 600 square feet it feels expansive. It has great vintage touches most notably the soap stone sink which is incredible! The fireplace and the furnishings complete the warm, welcoming classic cottage experience.
What makes this property unique
The cottage is near Fort Hill at the famed National Seashore . Fort Hill is one of those alluring spots, and every time we visit, we feel grateful that we can come here. The Fort Hill Trail winds and weaves through trees and the marsh area. You feel instantly transported to a jungle adventure and a million miles away from everything. The panoramic views provide sights of the ocean and Nauset marsh. You will feel transported to a majestic place, full of beauty and peace.
