Awesome renovated historic home, furnished to a great standard. It’s the ideal retreat for an exquisite & upscale stay, located close to the absolute heart of San Antonio. We believe it’s the ultimate location to experience San Antonio the way it should be. Get ready to get inspired! Very close to some fabulous sites, with only 8 minutes drive to downtown. All in all, guaranteed enjoyment and relaxation. Settle in by zoning out in the spa like bathroom or relax in the newly updated shared backyard space.

There is a Casita in the backyard that is also listed and therefore the backyard is a share space for all guests. If you’d wish to book both listings please reach out.

Inside was nice

The inside was nice, the yard does need work and the back looks nothing like pictures do so was not able to utilize like we wanted to.

Quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed our 2 night stay in this clean and well kept house in a quiet neighborhood. There was a little confusion about where to park but the accommodation itself was very good.

Amazing property

This was an amazing property in the heart of San Antonio. It was clean and cute with an older house charm. People complaining about the location must not know downtown areas. It was a fine locations and neighbors were even friendly saying hello when we arrived. Host was great with communication. We will try to stay here again when we visit in the summer.

Great place to stay.

The home was clean and so well put together for a comfortable, cozy stay. It had everything we needed. The location was superb as it was so close to the hub of San Antonio. Would definitely return.

House was nice, but neighborhood was CD.

We had a nice day, I was fearful of running out of toilet paper. And there were a limited amount of glasses for the three of us. The coffee maker was a small one for the possibility of four adults in the house. It was difficult to talk to the owner when we couldn’t get in at first because he would only answer emails.

San Antonio stay

Visit was quite good overall no issues with property, slight issue with parking but was resolved quickly by owner. Other minor issue with only one remote for 2 TVs but we dealt with it overall stay was great stay.

This little house was very nice, clean, and easy to get to. It was only 10 minutes to downtown San Antonio. The furnishings in the house were very nice and comfortable. The owner was helpful. Although communicating through emails took a little longer to get some answers. My sister and I had a great stay.

Wonderful house and host!

This house is exactly as listed. It is relaxing, clean and very nice. The host was great to communicate with and the beds were super comfy. The only downside is the neighborhood is not the greatest.

Will definitely stay again

Love the house! The neighbors were super nice. It definitely felt like home away from home. We will definitely stay again! The only negative i have to say is its gets HOT during the day and takes hours to cool off( if your gone all day) we ended up getting a small fan and it helped a lot! Oh! Dont cook bacon or anything with a high smoke, it WILL set off the smoke alarms lol but overall a great stay!

Awesome House

This is an amazing house. My family had an awesome stay. Even though the ad said main house guest park in the driveway, we parked on the street on account there were other guests in the back house, but the street was quiet and almost no traffic going through. The house is super clean, and the neighborhood is real quiet. I read other reviews for this house that the neighborhood was noisy, we where there the weekend and it was real quiet. Perhaps no parties were going on during our stay, but it was real quiet. The neighbors were real friendly. We will be back for sure. I highly recommend this home for your getaway. You wont regret it. I would give it more stars if I could. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home.

Light and Cozy

This was a fantastic place to stay just minutes from the Alamodome and downtown. The neighborhood was clearly older and might make some people nervous, but we were three women and it was fine. The home has security cameras and good locks. The inside is beautifully decorated with a light airy feel while still being soft and spa like. Kitchen had everything we needed. Owner plans to check on minor issue with the freezer(me didn’t need that so it didn’t bother us much) There was an odd smell upon entry but it seemed to fade the longer you were inside. Otherwise overall experience was fantastic. Couch is deep enough someone could sleep on if needed. Thanks for a great stay Ivan!!!

Quiet Neighborhood, Good Mexican Food Short Walk Away

The main house is adorable and where three of us stayed. The neighborhood was quiet and there is a good family-owned Mexican restaurant only a short walk away. The rest of our family was staying in other locations in the area but we all congregated here for meals. Plenty of seating and room for all seven of us to enjoy an evening together! The host was quick to respond to any questions or concerns. My only suggestion to the host would be to supply extra blankets as it got quite cold and we weren't able to adjust the thermostat to remain at a higher temp. The bedding was a fitted and top sheet and a light quilt. We were fine with having to buy laundry soap and extra TP but did not want to have to buy any blankets to take back home with us. It just would have a been a little more comfortable to have extra blankets. Other than that, I would recommend this property and host.

Overpowering air fresheners and bad neighborhood.

My husband & I drove 6 hours to San Antonio to see our granddaughter graduate. I rented this house because it had a recliner in the living room where I could sleep since I can no longer sleep in a bed because of an injury in 2022. However we couldn’t stay here because I couldn’t breathe due to overpowering air fresheners. I have severe asthma which is chemically induced. I had been in contact with the property manager & explained my condition & specifically asked that there be no plug-ins or air fresheners of any kind because I wouldn’t be able to stay otherwise. When we got there & open the door, the smell knocked me backwards. I was not even able to go into the house. My husband tried opening the windows & unplugging all the air fresheners. There was 4 in total! The house is not that big therefore it was so saturated that even opening the windows did not help enough for me to be able to stay there. The manager did give back our money, which by the way had been charged to my credit card the month before when I placed the reservation. I gave 3⭐️ for accuracy of online property description, and overall cleanliness. I could not go in the house & see for myself so I could not rate this 1 or a 5. However, my husband said the 2 smaller beds were smaller twin size. The neighborhood was pretty bad. 1⭐️ There is no handrails connected to the stairs on the front porch. Someone lives in the backyard, which is creepy. We had to drive 6 hours back home.

This property is locating in a Historic part of town and is in close proximity all of the downtown attractions that San Antonio has to offer. My home features a spa like bathroom that features a tub you will want to soak in and relax.

The backyard features new landscaping with a fire pit that will be perfect for all occasions.
