The rooms were clean and great to have 2 bathrooms. There were 9 (including 3 children) of us and plenty of room to accomodate us. Room to play games and for the kids to play!There were lots of stairs from the street to the front door and inside there were 2 floors of stairs. The stairs could be difficult if you have trouble walking up the stairs.Big kitchen with all of the utensils for us all to use! The host was helpful was available to answer any questions! Eating establishments and shops were 1 block away. Fun to be able to walk there!

Wonderful stay

This VRBO is comfortable and spacious. We four friends each got a bedroom. The beds were comfy, the neighborhood leafy and quiet, restaurants, coffee, and shops of all sorts within easy walking distance. We all agree that we would stay there again!

The home is right off a section of 23rd street that has plenty of coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, eclectic stores, and more. Within one block of the home is a trolley car station that can be used to connect to MAX Light Rail lines that service major areas in Portland. For those that like walking, the Pearl District is an easy one mile walk from the house. For those that like hiking, the home's easy access to public transportation means a person can get to the Columbia Gorge Express quite quickly for a full day of hiking. In other words, if you rent the house, there is no need to rent a car.The kitchen is fully stocked and works great for those that like to cook meals when traveling to save money. The neighborhood is lined with big, beautiful trees and is quiet during the evenings. The owner provided consistent and friendly communication from the beginning to the end. I highly recommend the house.
