Wonderful location. Everything else was just fine and what i expected for the most part. King is not a real king but that was ok with me (single person) floor in bedroom looks like it may have had water damage. Slight smell of mildew in unit.

Great place with everything you might need. Can walk to coffee shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend.
The breakfast nook was charming, the location was perfect, and the dedicated parking in the alley is priceless.
Steps from historic downtown, but right in the middle of the real charm in Uptown, 6-7 minute drive to the beaches and state park.
We will be back, thank you so much!

My wife and I spent our 47th anniversary in St. Augustine and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location to downtown in a really quiet neighborhood! The only suggestion we could offer is to install an exhaust fan in the bathroom and sweep the floors a little better (found a few dog hairs).

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Uptown Cottage which is located in a very pleasant residential neighborhood within walking distance of restaurants and shops, as well as the Fort and the downtown historic district. The cottage is cozy, nicely furnished and very private. The kitchen amenities, along with the gas grill, easily supported the many meals we cooked during our extended stay. This was our second stay at Uptown Cottage and we will definitely be returning.
Sweet Uptown Cottage wasnIdeal for our three day visit to St Augustine. It was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Walkable to the main attractions I Would definitely stay there again.
The cottage was bright and quiet and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A quick 5 minute walk had us in the middle of the action. The dedicated parking spot was a bonus.
We found the cottage to be clean, quiet and perfect for our short stay in St. Augustine. Within walking distance of everything we required - shopping, great restaurants & the historic district. If and when we come that way, we'll definitely book again.
We really enjoyed our stay in this neat and comfortable apartment.
The living/lounge area is peaceful, comfortable and peaceful. Everything we needed was provided or close by. Perfect for a couple on an exploring adventure.
We loved our stay here and found that it was in the best neighborhood. Thank you!

If location is key....
...then this is the place for you. The unit itself is relatively well equipped and the outside deck and BBQ a bonus. However, there was only minimal cleaning done. Had to rewash all the towels and sheets to get rid of strong musty smell. And to our horror, when we stripped the bed there was a huge yellow stain on the mattress and NO MATTRESS COVER to be found. Also washed the dishes as some that were neatly put away were dirty! Same goes for outdoor cushions and umbrella. Property manager responded promptly to our messages however the promised maintenance people, who were to come and fix lights that were burnt out and the dishwasher handle that was broken (which made opening the machine difficult) never showed up. Its a shame that this unit is not properly maintained as it could be a fantastic getaway spot. We will not be returning.
Great location, definitely close enough to walk into town but not so close that it's not quite. It is very quiet and the porch is very private. Just the right size.
The location of this charming cottage was perfect. It was easy to walk to St George Street. Where we found excellent restaurants, shopping and cocktails. The property was the perfect size and had everything we needed.
Door handle was broken from inside, had to crawl out the window & Im PREGNANT. Ridiculous no one contacted me back. Trash was full & dirty towels laying in bath tub.
The property was very well-decorated. The surrounding garden engulfed the deck in a way that made it feel like a tropical treehouse. The property was just a short walk away from many different activities and amenities. My wife and I would stay here again.
This home was in a very nice location. There was a little mixup upon check in with the housekeeping, but the property manager was able to work with us to get us into another property quickly! So our vacation was very nice in the end.
Good times & fun Memories made at the "Sweet uptown Cottage"!
We had a wonderful time staying at this bright, cheerful cottage. It's nicely elevated in the trees with a serene patio atmosphere tucked under the tropical foliage. Nice spot to have coffee and tea or a cocktails!

Labor Day getaway
This property is perfect for a couple and in a perfect location. There were a few things that kept us from rating this property higher, one was the condition in which we found the bathroom (this was the main BIG thing). My husband went to use the restroom and the toilet seat was soiled with feces!! To top it off there were no cleaning products other than dish and laundry detergents. Luckily we always travel with Clorox wipes so my poor husband cleaned the dickens out of it! He also cleaned the front entryway as it was quite messy and plant limbs kept smacking us in the face! Finally the day we were leaving we stripped the bed of the used linens (as we always do) and found that the mattress had a huge pee stain on it! This property could be a real gem however the owner needs to pay a bit more attention. Speaking of the owner I relayed all of this in a private communication and I never even got an acknoledgement, I guess it was not important. :-(
Loved the place, very clean, modern, loved the decor and lots of light. The place has 2 bedrooms with the main living area and master bedroom on the second floor. The second bedroom is on the first floor and has a half bath. We felt safe in the neighborhood however I would bring a flashlight as access to the home is ally access only and gets a tad dark at night. Location is great as the property is only a few blocks asway from the main city gate, took us about 10-15 minutes to get there. Overall we had a nice time, the kitchen had all the necessities including some coffee and sugar. Will book again.
Overall Happy, just a few issues that were resolved.
Overall, we were happy with the cottage. Very clean and well stocked. Location was FANTASTIC! We could literally walk everywhere we wanted to go...saved us money on a rental car! If I had to give any critiques they would be the following:
1). The "KING-SIZE" bed is definitely NOT a king-size bed...it is actually two twin box springs and mattresses pushed together and held in place by king-size sheets. It's difficult to cuddle with your partner with the separation down the middle of the bed. Other than that, the "beds" were comfortable.
2). The wireless connection was down for the first 3 days. When it was fixed, it was such a poor signal we couldn't us it anyway.
3). The outside lights (patio & driveway) did not work. That took 2 days to fix.
If asked if we would stay there again, ABSOLUTELY. We just would have preferred to know up front that it was not a king and that wireless was sketchy at best.
