Our cozy upstairs studio can accommodates up to 4 and is separate from the main house. Offering both comfort and privacy.
Enjoy a private entrance with keyless check-in for easy arrival.
The space includes a queen size sleep number bed, queen size pullout couch, along with a dining table for four.
The fully stocked kitchenette has everything you need for simple meals. We provide plush towels, linens, pillows and blankets to make your stay comfortable.

Whether you’re seeking a retreat, a restful respite, or a quiet getaway, this space invites you to slow down and reconnect. Enjoy your own private entrance and outdoor area, where you can unwind by the wood or patio fire pit, share a simple meal, or listen to the gentle sounds of nature.

Outdoor Space

Set on 6 peaceful acres, the property is surrounded by pine trees, wildflowers, and the natural beauty of Vermont. You may see deer, songbirds, butterflies, bees, and other wildlife—along with all the calming sounds of nature. A perfect place to relax and unwind.

Enjoy two designated outdoor areas:
• A grassy space with a small grill, cooking utensils, table, and seating for four with an umbrella
• A second seating area near the garden with comfortable lawn furniture

Winter Months
The open field offers plenty of space for snow play and snowshoeing. Guests are welcome to explore and break their own trails.

Laurie was an excellent host! The nest was so cozy and comfortable. The kitchen area was very well stocked and the sleep number bed was dreamy. This location was ideal for everything our family wanted to do - ski Stratton, shop Manchester and antiquing in Bennington. I even planned for a massage in Laurie’s studio 12/10!

Everything was a breeze: booking, communicating, checking in/out. Our stay was wonderful but too short! We will come back and stay longer. The bed was so comfortable. We slept so well. I’ve never felt so instantly at home before. Every little touch felt special. The decor was absolutely my taste. The cleanliness superb! This is a cozy apartment located in a quiet neighborhood on a lightly traveled road in Southern Vermont managed by a very friendly proprietor. Residences in the area are far apart and several working farms are nearby. Convenient to both Bennington and North Bennington, it was an ideal location for the post wedding party we attended over a week-end stay. The kitchenette is well equipped for a more extended stay. There are multiple outdoor features available to guests to enjoy the country air, read a book or sit by a fire. It was a great retreat for us after two days of partying and we would be happy to return.

Vermont ski trip

We absolutely loved this stay. The space was gorgeous and cozy. Fully equipped kitchen we were able to cook dinner in. The location about 45 minutes from Stratton where we skied, but was well worth the drive. Would absolutely stay here again. Thanks again Laurie!

Had a great stay. It was pretty easy to get up to the guest room and there were lots of helpful furnishings and suggestions. The person who slept on the fold-out bed was surprised how comfortable it was.

2 weeks in snow country

I arrived amidst freezing outdoor temperatures to a warm and cozy interior. I was visiting family and was concerned about snow and ice, Laurie had assured me that it would not be a problem and she was right. The unit was exactly as described in the ad. Laurie made sure that the snow was shoveled and I had no problems getting out in the morning! A wonderful, peaceful getaway!
