House was very nice. My only concern was after using the key to unlock the front door we had a situation where when we closed the door; we got locked out. From then on we made sure we had the key with us.

If you love hustle and bustle, you need to take a break and come to this property. It will show you the other side of the coin, and you will be thrilled that you came. This property is spacious inside and out, and gives you precisely the room and the amenities that you need for time away from the grind of daily life.Walk into this 1828 Vermont Cottage property and find a lovely dining room to the right and a sitting room directly ahead. The bathroom and shower on the first floor back up to the kitchen on the other side of the wall. There is a lovely day bed room that is more spacious than appears, with a large nook around the corner. The host has provided a profound record collection if you wish to return to the pre-digital age of the phonograph and vinyl.Upstairs, a queen bed sits adjacent to the landing, and has a desk and study area near the foot of the bed. Next door is the master suite, with a king bed and half bathroom. We were three friends on a trip, each in our own bed, and we had copious space for our gear. If you plan to find yourself near Manchester, Vermont and need a place to stay, give this property a long look.

New England charm. Quiet relaxing and serene location on the bank of Battenkill River and still convenient to Manchester, Bennington, and Dorset. Enjoyed our stay.
