I THINK OF THE FOUR SEASONS AS FOUR DIFFERENT LIFE-STYLES. WINTER IS BRIGHT WITH SPARKLING
SNOW AND ICE BLUE SKIES, WONDERFUL FAMILY SKIING, LOG FIRES, HAPPY KITCHEN TIME MAKING
GREAT MEALS. AND THE SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL.! SPRING IS FULL OF SECRETS, WHERE THE FIRST BLUE WILD CLEMATIS BLOOMS, THE FIRST OF THE AMAZING RANGE OF BUTTERFLIES APPEAR, THE HUMMINGBIRDS RETURN WITH THE GROSSBEAKS, AND THE FOREST COMES ALIVE WITH NEST BUILDING. THEN THERE IS SUMMER. THEY SAY HERE “YOU WILL COME IN WINTER FOR SKIING, BUT IF YOU COME IN SUMMER YOU WILL COME TO STAY”. EVERYBODY IS HERE, THE MOOSE, WILD WATER IN THE STREAMS, THE FULL ARRAY OF SUMMER BIRDS, THE DEER, FLYING SQUIRRELS…..I’VE LEFT FALL TO LAST BECAUSE IT IS MY FAVORITE SEASON- THE MOUNTAIN LOOKS LIKE A PARROT, ALL ORANGE, YELLOW, CORAL, GREEN-HIKES ARE AMAZING, WOODLAND SCENTS AT THEIR PEAK, WITH THE WATERFALL AND STREAM AS YOUR SOUND-TRACK. ALL PRETTY MAGIC AND HEALING. WE HAVE TAKEN OUR BASEMENT APARTMENT OFFLINE FOR THE SEASON. PLEASE INQUIRE ABOUT THIS SPACE IF YOUR GROUP EXCEEDS THE 14 AND YOUR STAY FITS INTO THE THE SEASONAL OPTION TO ADD THIS SPACE. OUR WINTERS ARE VERY UNPREDICTABLE. HEAVY SNOW FALL AND WINTER CONDITIONS MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO ACCESS THIS BASEMENT APARTMENT.
