This 8th floor oceanfront unit was recently renovated, with a gorgeous new kitchen , New Master bath with walk in shower and new furniture (2025) throughout. Look at our Reviews ! Fully accessorized unit with washer and dryer, Coffee Makers include Keurig and Mr Coffee. The Sunsets from your private balcony are simply breathtaking. Majestic Sun offers amenities that are second to none. Indoor/outdoor pool with swim through wall, waterfalls from indoor pool to outdoor pool, fountains, dual hot tubs which face the ocean! On Site tiki bar, waverunner and parasailing! Bike rentals,kayak rentals and walking distance to coffee shops, and some fantastic dining options. Some of our faves Include Pompanoe Joes, SurfHut and Camilles.

A huge first floor fitness center also faces the gulf. On site 18 Hole Golf Course, cool off with a frozen drink at the 'Whails Tail' Restaurant right on the beach! Tiki Bar is open during Spring and summer months. parasail or waverunner rentals are right on the beach at MAjestic Sun. Rent Bikes and bike down the beachfront trail to shopping or dining or site seeing. Majestic Sun is truly 'The Place To Be' in Destin. Weve kept our rates $400-$600 a week below the on site rental agency.

Our units ( 2 side by side) are done in a neutral decor with all the amenities of home. You can dolphin watch from your spacious private balcony or just kick back, relax, and watch the sun set!

Final Spring Break with our seniors!

We wanted take one last family trip before our two boys graduated. The location was great! The hosts were exceptional! The beach was sublime! We would love to visit here again! A bonus was the well equipped weight room and fitness center.

The condo was very comfortable and well cared for. For the busy season, it did not seem overcrowded and the property facilities were excellent. The location was centralized among the best attractions and the owners were a pleasure to deal with.

Cozy condo!

The condo was cute and cozy, perfect for my kids and I. We love staying at Majestic Sun and this condo did not disappoint. The owners were responsive when we connected and answered any questions I had.

Condo was nice. Clean and beautiful view! Great to have to have some beach toys and a chair available for use! It was hard to get a chair at the pool as people had their towels on chairs very early in the morning.

Wonderful!

We had a great 2 week stay here in late Oct, early Nov. Weather was a little cooler than our prior April/May vacation in Miramar, as expected, but we still went in the ocean, loved the white sandy beach, and the spectacular view from our 8th floor balcony! Loved the hot tub! Loved all the seafood—tried lots of restaurants. The condo itself was VERY clean, our K bed was VERY comfortable, the kitchen was gorgeous although we didn’t use it much (ate out a lot). Had a few questions but found Dave to be quickly responsive. Thank you Dave! We really had a relaxing time.

Great Place

The location was awesome I loved being right in front of the beach and the beach was clean and beautiful. This was our first time going to Destin and I am so happy I stayed here because it made for a great experience and will defintely come back again and stay here again. Parking was always available most of the time we had to park in the garage but at least it was available. It was conveniently located near a couple beach bars. It was very close to Winn Dixie. It was also not it the really crowded area, it was crowded but not as crowded as some of the parts down the road. I loved this place and if we ever had questions about anything the owner was responsive. We have had a lot of bad experiences with VRBO this was the first to impress and was very happy it did .

Family trip

We had a great time . This was our first trip to Destin area . We enjoyed the condo it had everything you needed to cook if you wanted to eat in . We did eat most breakfast and lunch in the condo. The condo was as described in listing clean and comfortable . Beautiful view and great location. We walked every evening to Whale Tail and Surf Hut for drinks . We liked that convenience . We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony enjoying the view and having drinks there as well . This will now be added to our yearly trips to Florida and we will be staying with the Burkes. Our family who shared this trip has already ask me for their information for a future stay . They enjoyed the condo and plan on coming with their sons family . We recommend this condo and the area.

Destin Vacation May 2024

The property was amazing and the views of the ocean and around the Destin-Fort Walton Beach area are beautiful and breathtaking. The owners were also amazing too in terms of communication and making sure I had everything I needed upon arrival and departure and to answer any questions I had in terms of the property itself and also on arrival, and departure. The property was also very well clean and well maintained upon arrival and throughout the week. Everything also worked in terms of the appliances to electronics, the bathrooms, etc. This is now my third time vacationing solo and overall my stays at Majestic Sun over the past 3 years have always been amazing and this property was the best. The pricing of it for what I could afford was definitely worth it. I would definitely recommend Majestic Sun and this property for anyone wanting to take a solo vacation to the beach or for any families who wish to take a trip down here to the beach for vacation or just a weekend. A huge shoutout and many thanks to the owners Dave and Jill Burke for being such great hosts and for providing everything I needed for my stay in their property for the week. I’m already ready to come back again to the Destin area soon. Maybe next year for a 4th time. We will see. Destin is always my favorite place to vacation.

Excellent views, lots of pros, & very few cons!

The owners were great, and the cleanliness of the property was moderate - the pictures have the couches covered, but they weren’t for our stay so they were older and stained but still functional. The beds in the guest room were definitely more comfortable than the master, and the fridge seemed to take a while to cool our groceries off, but did the job overnight. Has a Mr Coffee coffee pot instead of a Keurig, which is what we’re used to, but to each their own - we all drink at least 2 cups per day so we drank all we purchased for the week. The best feature of this rental is the location and the amenities on the property - excellent beach views, indoor and outdoor pools, and an amazing surf shop in the lobby. It’s also situated in a good part of town where there are lots of shops, restaurants, and things to do when you get sunburnt like we did the first day! Overall, we had a great experience with the property owner who gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants - would love to stay again!

Overall nice condo. Awesome view of the beach. The owners were very helpful. There a few things that do need taken care of. In need of new patio furniture and inside rugs. The inside of patio sliding door is a hazard tripped several times and it also needs a good cleaning. Also needs a new broom and dustpan the one that is there is wore out. We did a a great week at the beach.

I would definitely stay here again!!

This place is absolutely wonderful! The condo is very well equipped; they do furnish what you need to get started, and then of course you have to go buy your own materials if you are staying an extended amount of time: trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc. (first time staying somewhere that wasn’t a hotel so this is probably pretty normal). The owners of the condo were wonderful to me when I couldn’t bring up the pdf on my phone of how to check in when I arrived and they responded quickly and kindly which was amazing. Cons: the master bedroom did not have curtains so if you’re a person like me who loves to sleep in that is a little hard when the sun is wanting you to get up at 6:30 a.m. *my in laws did state their beds were “squeaky” and glad they weren’t a “wild couple” 🤦🏼‍♀️ Haha. *Lastly, there is public parking for beach access in front of the condo so it is kinda noisy and the beach was pretty crowded which every part of the beach usually is. Pros: The condo was clean with a fully equipped kitchen and a washer and dryer. * The view is breath taking! You can sit in the living room on the couch and you feel like you can see miles of the ocean. *A couple of restaurants right on the beach pretty close to the condo when you don’t feel like traveling to eat somewhere. *Lastly, the owners are very quick to respond and are wonderful! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for letting me and my family stay in your condo! We have memories we will never forget ❤️

Great value - lovely condo on a beautiful beach

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The owner was kind enough to offer us check in a day early because the unit was not occupied. THE VIEW is perfect. It was very clean and perfectly stocked for our needs. We have rented numerous condos for beach trips and this owner clearly knows what he is doing. The process was flawless. Our questions were answered before we thought to ask them. Know that the property is on a busy road with road noise if that bothers you, but the trade off is there are numerous excellent restaurants and activities all around to enjoy. This is not a secluded beach vacay - it is better suited to the active and social. Kids will love the inside/outside pool areas. Finally, I have never noticed this in a property, but their surf shop was great. We bought chairs, sunscreen, cup holders, clothes and never had to leave the grounds or change out of our bathing suit - it had everything and the prices were very reasonable. We had a terrific week. Thank you again.

The location and condition of the condominium are excellent. We were able to dolphin watch from our balcony and straight across from the beach access.

Wonderful white sand beach and nice pool. Poor cleanliness and outdated condo

Kitchen is the only update. Bathrooms from the 80’s. No true master bath like most condos. Had to put comforters on windows to block out light. Filthy unit. Needs major spring cleaning. Furniture very dirty. Not one towel matched. Pretty sure most were rags. Maintenance had to come fix dishwasher twice. Slam it in and hope it starts in 3 minutes. Need new one. Dust on all decor. Spend some money and update bathrooms and deep clean needed. First time I have sent a review. Sorry it is not a better one. Destin is beautiful though!!!

Beach is great, pool needs a bit of TLC

The room was clean and met our needs for the week. Only negative was that the pool had too much chlorine and not able to be used comfortably. Please be aware you do cross the street for the beach but cars do give pedestrians right of way. Beach was amazing and quiet. Not crowded as most west Destin locations.
