We recently stayed at the property and it was as advertised. The cabin is also conveniently located near bear mountain, where you can easily walk to the parking lot and take a shuttle to the ski lifts. There's also a great donut shop in walking distance as well!
Host was very communicative and very helpful. We were bummed that the mountain wasn’t open for skiing during our trip, but that was a risk we knew we were taking. The property was incredibly conveniently located to everything in Big Bear, and we will definitely look to stay here again!

Erik, thanks for staying at Casa Amarilla! Glad you enjoyed your stay. We'd love to have you all back once the ski resorts open up.
We loved staying here! From start to finish this getaway exceeded all expectations. The cabin itself was perfect for a large family and has a big fenced in back yard if you have dogs. We cooked our dinner on the grill in the backyard and ate on the shaded table. It's walking distance to food, hiking and zoo. Another standout was Daniel our host. From the moment I made the booking until the end of our stay Daniel was incredibly responsive and accommodating.
